This is her most straight forward song yet. Think it's clever to serve It Girl as a more left field pop banger so that people can bop to the basic pop one without having a new more experimental track to bop along to, although It Girl could surprise her team if it goes viral... It'd be interesting to see what they'd do in that case...

I’d probably drop the album pre-order with ‘That’s Showbiz, Baby!’ (or ‘It Girl’) and then aim for late Feb/Early March release for the album! (Ideally alongside BRITS promo - but we’ll see with that!) with this track the week before the album!

I’m assuming this is being pushed back because surely she can’t promote / tease this for a Feb release, especially if it’s the official 3rd single.

I honestly want her to announce it a week prior to the release. There’s no need for more than 1 week of teasing in 2025. That worked much better for IT girl than the endless Fantasy teasing.

I wonder if this is still out this month? Ideally it’s released on the 28th with the album announcement and then she does Angel/FUFN at the Brits. The main performance would probably have to be Angel as that’s the song that has been nominated but i’m sure she can fit in the chorus or something

 

We know the music video has been shot so that’s ready to go, i just hope this hasn’t been pushed back a little now we know the album has been moved to May

February 28th makes the most sense atm for FUFN to drop. Ideally the album pre-order the same day for an April release. :kink:

If the album's slated for May, end of February seems too early for FUFN (and also too soon after It Girl). I'd rather not have another two singles released before the album gets here.

At the same time, having no new release or announcement to benefit from the BRITs performance buzz is INSANITY.

Tbf if the BRITs performance really does wonders for her, and AOMD gets reset/re-playlisted and gets a second wind in the charts, maybe a new single won't be required? :kink: Seriously though, if Angel looks to have new life/buzz around it, it probably would be best to run with that and make it as big of a hit as possible, which would then set the album and the next single up really well. Obviously this is all very ideal-world-scenario but a gay can dream. :lol:

She does seem to be still pushing IG on socials which makes me think this isn't coming anytime soon
