Wicked may still be smashing at the cinema but the ball is already rolling for Part 2, with a Wicked: For Good title announced today!

 

Hopefully an 11 month wait will be a piece of cake after creating the thread for Part 1 about 3 years ago :lol:

 

I have seen that both Ariana and Cynthia are getting an original song to sing in this movie, intrigued for those on top of the more familiar favourites.

Yep they both have a new solo which apparently everyone felt was necessary for storytelling which I can definitely see, Act 2 of the musical is much shorter and quite rushed so I can see why each character arc would need a song added to fill it out.

 

For Good the song is going to absolutely break me especially with the friendship between Ariana and Cynthia that we’ve seen through all the promotional activities.
