Completely didn't clock Run To The Hills peaked at 7! Thought it peaked higher in the future but then realised I confused it with Number Of The Beast

Camila Cabello – Never Be The Same

The Fortunes - Storm In A Teacup

Eddie Grant - Gimme Hope Jo'anna

Ella Henderson - Glow

Kool and The Gang - Celebration

Labrinth - Jealous

Bridgit Mendler – Ready Or Not

Andy Williams - Home Lovin' Man

This party anthem was a number 1 single for Kool and The Gang in their own country and one of seven UK top 10 hits. Gimme Hope Jo'anna was Eddie Grant's first top 10 hit for five years when it came out in 1988. Home Lovin' Man, from 1970, was Andy Williams' sixth top ten single, coming thirteen years after his only number 1, 'Butterfly'.

'Run To The Hills' and 'Glow' were close to my votes, otherwise not much of note dropping out today.

Paloma Faith – Picking Up The Pieces

Marv Johnson – You Got What It Takes

Paul McCartney and Wings - Jet

Manic Street Preachers - Theme From M.A.S.H. (Suicide Is Painless)

Nightcrawlers featuring John Reid - Surrender Your Love

The Walker Brothers - No Regrets

Tion Wayne featuring Dutchavelli and Stormzy – I Dunno

From 1974, Jet was a sixth top 10 hit for Paul McCartney, with or without Wings. The Walker Brothers split up in 1968 but got back together in 1975 and quickly had one more big hit with No Regrets. Marv Johnson had two top 40 singles in 1960 (one of which was You Got What It Takes) and two more in 1969 but nothing in between. The Manic Street Preachers' cover of the number 1 single, Theme From M.A.S.H., was their first top 10 hit.

I was the only voter then for the wonderful dance tune ‘Surrender Your Love’ :(

Justice for I Dunno.

Think I was the only person to give it points lmao

Beyonce - Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)

DHT featuring Edmee – Listen To Your Heart

Free - Wishing Well

The British group Free are best known for 'All Right Now' but they had two other top 10 hits, one of which was Wishing Well in 1973. Single Ladies by Beyonce won three Grammy awards in 2009. I'm surprised only two people voted for it. Also here is a cover of the Roxette song, Listen To Your Heart.

JP Cooper - September Song

D-Side – Invisible

Girls Aloud - Long Hot Summer

Demi Lovato - Cool For The Summer

Britney Spears featuring Pharrell Williams - Boys (The Co-Ed Remix)

From 2016, September Song is the only top 40 hit for JP Cooper as the lead artist. In the same year, he featured on a single by Jonas Blue which got to number 2. Most of September is part of the summer which also features here in songs by Girls Aloud and Demi Lovato. All four of Britney Spears' number 7 singles received votes and Boys is the first one to drop out.

Lionel Richie - Dancing On The Ceiling

U.S.U.R.A. - Open Your Mind

Dancing On The Ceiling was the seventh top 10 hit for Lionel Richie, he still has one more song left. Seven years later, Open Your Mind was the first of three top 40 singles for the Italian dance group U.S.U.R.A.

A fair few favourites dropping out now for me, specifically the Manics, Maiden, Prince and Betty Boo.

I lost three of mine in one day!

I've always had a big soft spot for 'Invisible' by short-lived Irish boyband D-side, I'm a sucker for that kind of guitar-led pop which bands like that do so well. I'm just happy someone else voted for it!

I thought 'September Song' was still reasonably well remembered so I'm surprised it's dropped out on such a low number of points :(

'Wishing Well' is easily one of my ultimate seventies rock bangers! Not as well known as their bigger hit 'All Right Now' but it's so much better.

That DHT cover of Roxette on the other hand received far too many points. Way to ruin one of my songs of the 80s!

Herman's Hermits - No Milk Today

Pitbull featuring TJR - Don't Stop The Party

Herman's Hermits had four of their singles peak at number 7. This is the second of the two that received votes. It was written by Graham Gouldman who appeared two days ago as part of 10cc. Pitbull has a second song still to come.

Herman's Hermits had four of their singles peak at number 7.

That's disproportionately high given that they only had 20 top 40 singles altogether! I quite like a lot of their discography and 'No Milk Today' is definitely one of their best (although there is a good reason 'I'm Into Something Good' was their only number one :D)

Celine Dion - Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore

Outkast featuring Sleepy Brown - The Way You Move

This is Celine Dion's only UK hit single in the French language. It sold more than two million copies in both Canada and France. She has another song left in.

Flip & Fill featuring Kelly Llorenna – True Love Never Dies

Elton John - Pinball Wizard

Taylor Swift featuring Ed Sheeran – Everything Has Changed

Britney Spears - 3

Take That - A Million Love Songs

Elton John has five number 7 singles and three of them caught the attention of the voters. Pinball Wizard was recorded first by The Who in 1969. Elton John performed the song in the 1975 film adaptation of Tommy and released it as a single the following year. Take That and Britney Spears are both preoccupied with numbers, one big and one small.

Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey – The Middle

From 2018, this is one of nine top 40 singles so far for the German DJ Zedd.

'No Milk Today' just missing out on the Top 30.

'Don't Stop The Party' another one for mine to go on my list.

I wonder whats gonna be the cutoff point. Last year 62 was the cut off point for Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 6 Single.
