Last week (10th October), sales were at 272,099. Should be going Platinum next week. So, if it was allowed in the main albums chart, it would be at #6 in the EOY chart so far.

I think the triple counting of Queen albums is definitely wrong and a head scratcher by the OCC. Seems designed to allow it to remain forever the biggest selling album. It's certainly the only thing

Sabrina gonna be on about 460k by the time Taylor releases is 12 weeks gonna be long enough to take number 1

If she has a 200k+ first week, she’ll be putting up a strong fight

Wonder how much the former Sabrina album will slow up now the new ones released. Coukd stop it reaching a million?

I don't see why it would slow down, it's not like GUTS being released had a negative impact on SOUR, for example!

Yeah its still doing similar to what it was doing pre MBF anyway the market is just busier so its charting a little lower

Kinda rhought the attention would be taken away from it just. But let’s hope not!

It’s really funny to say this when you see that SOUR have remained remarkably stable, and the release of GUTS even pushed SOUR back into the top 10 for weeks, stopping it from falling out of the top 20 for a long time afterward.

Precisely my point!

I'm gonna say Sabrina's final total will be in the 520-530k range. TTPD did 568k its first 12 weeks. So it depends basically on if Showgirl has as strong first few weeks as TTPD did.

The Official biggest albums of 2025 so far

It’s a Britpop 2025! Following the blockbuster Oasis Live ‘25 tour this summer, the Manchester legends see three of their albums, Time Flies...

Posted an official top 40 if anyone wanted to compare no sales unfortunately

It would be interesting to see the totals physical/downloads only. Cant help but feel it would be a true reflection

The way its going she could even potentially debut top 2 😅

Taylor is already the second best selling album of the year. Can she grab the top spot next week- I think its very possible!

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl remains #1 in today’s UK Albums Chart update, now with 338,648 sales 📈

The numbers just keep climbing — already one of the biggest first-week runs in years.

How far can Taylor go? 👀 pic.twitter.com/6ugRBRNhVa

— OpinionatedUK (@OpinionatedYute) October 7, 2025

Sabrina gets to hold top spot for 1 more week, (unless Taylor totally collapse below 20k in week 2)
