I was wondering if anyone would be interested in looking at this (or maybe it’s just me)? In the streaming era the EOY chart has appeared heavily biased towards songs released/peaking in the first ha

Just had a go at a full top 40, week 14 2024 to week 13 2025. You're pretty much bang on with your sales estimates, just had to change Hot To Go (it would've done a few sales in 2023 so its total woul

That's inaccurate. The top 20 biggest songs of the year so far are actually:

  1. Ordinary

  2. Messy

  3. Pink Pony Club

  4. APT.

  5. That's So True

  6. Beautiful Things

  14. Espresso

  15. Sailor Song

  16. Taste

  17. Bad Dreams

  18. The Door

  19. back to friends

  20. undressed

That list is also set to change this week as "Golden" is set to enter the top 10 this week.

I don't think it will, tbh.

Would need to average about 30k per week for the rest of the year, so would need to stabilise and stop dropping off very soon.

"How It's Done" is now certified Gold, so that should have gone up a little bit this week.

Everybody Wants to Rule the World is back in the race. Could even re-enter this week along with Another Love.

Can’t see how Dakota would have charted this week without a reset, had its worst week in a while on Spotify

"Golden" is now roughly at 958k/959k. Enters the top 10 at #9. Will surpass 1 million units next week.

I knew it had fallen away quite a bit but 6k SCR seems terrible for it. And what a strange time to re-set it, rather than when it was actually doing well.

If I had to guess it will be Another Love re-entering over A Sky Full Of Stars this week, depending on how Denial Is A River is doing we might see Just Keep Watching enter too.

Just seen it is #3 in the Sales chart, so I guess that explains it and it's still on ACR.

Ah my bad didn’t check that. Well it’s definitely safe this week in that case.

"The Fate of Ophelia" is now at 352k units. Should be entering next week. If not, the week after.

At this rate, Golden will do between 1.4 million and 1.5 million by the end of the year. The battle for #2 will be very close, though.

Anybody got a yearly sales estimate for Let Down and Escapism?

Let Down is on 318k so probably not making it, don't have an estimate for Escapism
