One of them is #82 and one is #84 with Daisies in between, I’m pretty sure. Problem is with my totals from last week, both of them should be above Daisies this week so clearly I’m wrong on one of them.

“Burning Down” is doing worse than you think - #87. “Sex On Fire” is indeed #82.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in looking at this (or maybe it’s just me)? In the streaming era the EOY chart has appeared heavily biased towards songs released/peaking in the first ha

Just had a go at a full top 40, week 14 2024 to week 13 2025. You're pretty much bang on with your sales estimates, just had to change Hot To Go (it would've done a few sales in 2023 so its total woul

Thanks Julian. Burning Down is basically impossible to estimate but surprised to see it's dropped off that much. It's probably going to miss right?

I wouldn’t rule out “Ordinary” either which is looking incredibly sticky.

2 million this year, that in itself must be rare? Possibly followed by a million next year, that would be unique wouldn’t it?

Should get The Fate Of Ophelia in this week and A Sky Full Of Stars finally out!

With 1.019 million units, "Golden" should now be at #7.

It is at 8 this week, as confirmed by Alan Jones

I’m not sure if it will be “A Sky Full Of Stars”, “Dakota” or “Just Keep Watching” dropping out!

Looking pretty competitive at the bottom currently. Will end in a couple of weeks when Move, Guess and The Giver all finally get to the danger zone

Oh yeah I've completely had to redo my The Giver estimate, was expecting it to go gold easily this week but it's clearly doing way worse than I thought.

Be interesting how fast taylor shoot up now its down to 50k range

It could still get to 700k by the end of the year

Turns out I'm not very smart as I had it on 400k last week despite it not having gone gold. Given it still hasn't gone gold, I guess it must've been on 395k max last week. Have got to assume it will go gold next week tho, otherwise it's probably doing below 4k a week.

Jesus Christ, how badly is Anxiety doing, must be like 2.5k a week if that.

Think Another Love is losing its opportunity, fallen off massively on Spotify this week.

Not sure if anything is likely to push its way in next week. 12 to 12 and What It Sounds Like can’t be far away surely?

12 To 12 373k

WISL I think around 370k

Where Is My Husband! 319k

That may be all we’re expecting plus Christmas songs and possibly an oldie or two reappearing.

I suspect we’ll lose:

Mutt

Burning Down

Guess

Move

Cruel Summer

The Giver

Dakota

Thanks for another extended update Julian! What a fall-off from Doechii. Didn't realise A Sky Full Of Stars was still doing that well, I was expecting it to drop out way earlier. Out of interest where is Move? It's been off the indie charts for a while making it hard to track

  • Author

“Move” is #95 doing about 4k per week. It seemed incredibly stable in the early part of the year and then fell off a cliff.
