Monday at 11:222 days Do we think everything on the SCR (DCL-0) list is now guaranteed a reset in January if it goes to ACR before the end of the year? So even if those songs (ignore the old Halloween ones) reach DCL-3 in three weeks time, will that be close enough to the Christmas takeover, or would that be the week after?

I was wondering if anybody knows at what point a DCL-1 song can be almost guaranteed a reset in the New Year

Some people reckon it's "Manchild" re-entering, but when you cut Manchild's streams in half, the streams for Nobody's Son are higher by 20k (give or take).

Tuesday at 21:451 day Another ACR thought (for the day ) - if any song of any age / chart history except Christmas songs can now get an automatic reset with a 25% increase and have to go through 3 declines to return to ACR, why then was 'Escapism.' hoicked back without the 3 declines just because it reached 3 years old? Doesn't make any logical sense to me, unless all the Halloween, Oasis, etc. resets were actually "manual".The concept of "permanent" ACR doesn't seem to exist outside of Christmas songs anymore, except for the fact that anything over 3 years old is on ACR by default and has to have some reset to escape it, but in the case of 'Escapism.' it had that reset, why should the fact the reset came just before it turned 3 years old mean it gets less of a chance than the older reset songs got?
Tuesday at 22:181 day I'd sooner try and solve the Riemann Hypothesis than to understand the OCC's logic when it comes to ACR.

16 hours ago16 hr Could you imagine the top 40 if the majority of Christmas songs got reset, it’s bad enough in December with them all on ACR 😂

It’s complex 🤣🤣🤣
14 hours ago14 hr If they wanna reset old Christmas songs, only reset the ones that haven’t reached number 1 or even better, keep them on ACR
