January 16, 20251 yr She's not beating the industry plant allegations with that marketing x I specifically said EU not US. In EU it sold out in 5 nanoseconds and whenever they restored it sold out in 2 nanoseconds. I didn't manage to get one despite being in vinyl groups, having notifications etc.. they might have had more in the US.. I mean Taylor Swift vinyls are always going to sell out very quickly no matter how many of them there are (pretty sure I read the 160k US sales were all in less than 1 hour). And pardon me if I may assume this post is just a little bit of an exaggeration too :P obviously not suggesting there were as many sold here as in the US but I imagine it's very possible there were enough for the album to grab a week at #1 in a quiet week.
January 16, 20251 yr Polydor have sent an email out to ‘help Gracie stay at No.1’, with the download down to 59p. Grrr. FOR FOOKS SAKE!!!! She's had 7 bloody weeks at #1 why is this a campaign?

January 17, 20251 yr FOR FOOKS SAKE!!!! She's had 7 bloody weeks at #1 why is this a campaign? A campaign?
January 17, 20251 yr A campaign? Yes, I would say Polydor sending out an email saying "download for 59p to keep Gracie at #1" counts as a campaign.

ALot of the vinyls was snapped up by robots set up by ebay sellers and that is why it kept selling out so fast.
