When we look at Kylie's first and last Number 1s we clearly see how varied Kylie's music is and also how clear she has developed as an artist.

Kylie

Both are classics for me and I still love her debut, I like tension 2 but I can't see it holding up down the road, I do like slow but much prefer lucky.

I really never thought when slow went number 1 that it would be her last, as its highly unlikely she will have a number 1 single again.

I went for the firsts : such nostalgia for me. Our Charlene became a singer, and how!!!
Plus, even outside of just kylies reportoire, Certain and Turn it into love are 2 VERY well constructed pop songs they for me have stood the test of time

I love both of these aswell.

I feel like for a poll it should be written by its actual name: Tension II :teresa:

Slow

Tension II

I'll always have more of an affinity for 2000 and beyond Kylie, over her 80s material!

I go through phases of new and old kylie and genuinely love both but old kylie brings lots of nostalgia for me and often I get to have my mind back in an exact spot of my youth when listening to her first 2 albums. Between neighbours and music Ive grown up with kylie for about 40 years and so much has happened in that time.

I love so much of her work as it consists of a huge level of amazing songs, Kylie hit a wall around Kiss me Once and Kylie Christmas but as ever she came back stronger showcasing her talent and resilience.

If you play her debut and Tension II back to back you would doubt it's the same artist but remarkably both are very Kylie

They are such different albums and im actually a fan of both but the nostalgia and everything that goes with her debut is huge for me.

I Should Be So Lucky - because it's just fun and where it all began. Whereas I never really liked Slow.

And Kylie because it's not a ground breaking album but it doesn't try or want to be. Whereas Tension II maybe tried a bit too hard to be an album of Padams.

I do like slow but never loved loved it, there have been a few great live versions and mixes of it but i still prefer i should be so lucky by a long which also has some great live versions.
