Posted March 11Mar 11 We have had three singles taken from MAYHEM but all eyes are turning now to the 4th single. There is SO MUCH to choose from but you are only allowed to pick ONE. What do you want the 4th single from MAYHEM to be - you might base it on personal taste or what you think has the best chance at success!Vote in the poll and comment below - who knows, maybe Gaga will see the responses and decide accordingly 😜
March 11Mar 11 Vanish Into You! So I think it’s both GP friendly, radio accessible but it also shows the contrast to the album too. The other solo singles are vastly different and this kinda stands on its own in a sense. Those who prefer the more Lady side to her will like this one! There’s so much potential for this campaign and many an opportunity for viral moments. Edited March 11Mar 11 by Jordanlee1402
March 11Mar 11 Garden of Eden / Zombieboy or perfect celebrity I can see an incredible video with the latter with a storyline concept about Fame / being the perfect celebrity for it all to come shattering down in anger (Genuinely think it could be a real moment) I do think she should capitalise on How bad do you want me? So I went with that in the poll. I really hope we get another 2/3 singles from the album.
March 11Mar 11 'Zombieboy' quality-wise but agreed that 'How Bad Do U Want Me' probably makes the most sense commercially right now in the campaign.
March 11Mar 11 How Bad Do U Want Me would be a good shout. The songs earlier on the track list are already getting the bigger streams so might run out of steam before becoming a single
March 11Mar 11 Zombieboy, but honestly, whatever is the highest non-single on streaming charts in 2 weeks, should be a single.
March 11Mar 11 I think from a commercial POV 'Garden of Eden' would be the best choice, but she's got quite a few here she could choose from! I hope the campaign runs for at least two more.
March 11Mar 11 my brain says Garden Of Eden and that's what I'm going for 😂 it's already been used in a commercial (which I know doesn't mean anything if we look at Aura) and it's the most streamed/cherry picked in the US currently - i'd rather the post-album rollout go back to The Fame era strategies where what's chosen the most by the GP gets chosen as a single. it was iTunes before and it's Spotify now 🤷♂️
March 11Mar 11 Personal preference would be Perfect Celebrity But I could see How Bad Do You Want Me doing the best commercially
March 11Mar 11 It's not my favourite but I think that How Bad Do You Want Me is the one to go for, I really think it could be a big single for her here.
March 12Mar 12 Author I have SO MANY options to choose from, it's torture. After considering everything I have gone for How Bad Do U Want Me - I think it could be her biggest hit of the options and it's a huge favourite of mine too! Garden Of Eden, Perfect Celebrity, Shadow Of A Man to follow though!!So many choices
March 12Mar 12 I’m glad there’s opportunities on the album for potential smashes! I can genuinely see many tracks doing higher numbers than what Disease did if there’re given a proper push!TikTok get on board! Vanish Into You feels very GP friendly and it’s growing on me fast but I do hear How Bad Do U Want Me and think it sounds like a smash (and she’s never really had a song like this too). Zombieboys the other one I thinks potentially the most TikTok ready BUT maybe that could become a Halloween staple and get its moment a tad later?
March 18Mar 18 I hope we get quite a few more singles from the album. Vanish Into You is good, but it wouldn't be my preferred choice - I think I'd opt for all of Garden of Eden / Zombieboy / How Bad Do U Want Me ahead of it
March 18Mar 18 'Vanish Into You' still isn't an album highlight for me unfortunately BUT the hype sticker for the physicals mentions it by name, so if it does get a push then it'll at least make that less of a jarring inclusion amongst the hits, as I like keeping them on. 😅Agreed that 'Garden of Eden', 'Zombieboy' and 'How Bad Do U Want Me' would all be strong picks
March 18Mar 18 How Bad Do U Want Me for commercial reasons, Garden of Eden due to pure nostalgia or Zombieboy for the video alone
