Some years ago they said because he was part of a tax saving scheme (which I guess everyone is). But I don't think this is the reason. He might no have people strong enough to push him forward?

So, I merged all threads about SA (there were 6 in total) in a single one. It's the competitor of Better Man now :)

Oooooh !!, I forgot about that even though I doubt it would make a difference  . Does someone have too nominate the person , he must have little or no friends

I think it will come to him one day -goodness knows why he has had to wait so long though.

There's no rhyme nor reason to those honours.

Aww nice -I might go if it's a good date ^_^

Won't go for the expensive tickets but up in the stands maybe

Liam Payne to be announced for SA 2022 tomorrow.

Looking forward to finding out about venue etc because I might be going :cheer:

An article about new details of SA 2022:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...r-Aid-2022.html

UNICEF UK Ambassador Robbie Williams, who co-founded the event in 2006, will also be making an appearance at the match to deliver a special half-time performance of his hit Angels - in front of the 60,000-strong crowd.

The singer said the event will be 'one of the most special nights of my career', urging fans to buy tickets: 'I already know that it is going to be one of the most special nights of my career – and I want as many of you as possible to be part of it.

'Tickets are selling fast, so I would urge people to snap them up while they are still available. In so doing, people will be supporting Soccer Aid for UNICEF, which has raised £60m since we started it 16-years-ago.'

Soccer Aid 2022: England and World XI line-ups and managers confirmed ahead of clash

The line-ups for Soccer Aid 2022 have been unveiled with Arsene Wenger, Harry Redknapp and Gary Neville among the icons taking part in the charity fixture on 12 June.

Legendary former Arsenal manager Wenger will manage World XI - who won the 2021 game 3-0 - while Redknapp will take charge of England to raise money for UNICEF. World XI's victory last year leaves the two teams level on five triumphs apiece, so bragging rights are on the line at the London Stadium - the home of West Ham - this summer. Singer Liam Payne will captain an England side containing Manchester United hero Neville, Liverpool favourite Jamie Carragher and former Chelsea playmaker Joe Cole, with David Seaman serving as goalkeeping coach. Others who will represent the 'hosts' include Lucien Laviscount, Tom Grennan, Chunkz, Fara Williams and Alex Brooker.

Comedian Brooker wears a prosthetic leg and he is set to become the first physically disabled participant in Soccer Aid. Meanwhile, World XI will be skippered by Olympics legend Usain Bolt once again. The Jamaican will have ex-United defender Patrice Evra and Republic of Ireland's record goalscorer Robbie Keane at his disposal, as well as Martin Compston, Mo Gilligan and Chelcee Grimes.

More participants are set to be announced and the money generated from the popular friendly fixture - which has raised over £60million since 2006 - will go towards helping UNICEF provide vaccines, tackle malnutrition and protect children in times of crisis, including the war in Ukraine.

Robbie Williams helped establish Soccer Aid in 2006 and the superstar singer will perform his famous hit 'Angels' at half-time while Alex Scott, Dermot O'Leary and Maya Jama will provide coverage of the fixture. Former Arsenal and England defender Scott said: "How special is it going to be to see Usain back at the London Stadium ten years on from his gold medal wins in 2012?

Where are you seated Laura :P

Where my son in law directed me Tess  (he's a West Ham season ticket holder so knows the stadium well.)

We got the £50 tickets -tier one -good view of the pitch. B-)

I told both my sons in law they can go to the bar at half time if they fancy  but I think they will be pleasantly surprised with the half time entertainment ;)

Yeah! Laura, wish you a great evening.

It's good that Rob has started to use SA for some personal performance.

Of course it would be better to listen some new music but... I believe Angels' new version would be well, in the past orchestra worked well with his songs.

I guess it just has to be one song as it has to fit in with the tv times slots , Angels is good choice , has to be something the crowd will know as they will not be his general fans .
