LOVE IT! Its insanely catchy. Sounds very 'Light Up The World' by Glee though, the chorus melody is extremely similar.

That'll be Savan Kotecha for you. He's done this as well as both 'Loser Like Me' & 'Light Up The World' from Glee, and one of the lyrics in this is actually 'light up the world...'. No bad thing though I don't think.

The chorus is really like Loser Like Me & Light Up The World.

I really like it! I knew I'd probably like whatever they came up with but it's a genuinely good song imo (with some suspect lyrics, granted.)

 

This is brilliant. Now if the UK could get Cher to number 1 then I'm 100% certain that OD will too and hopefully longer and stick around eventhough since last year they were garunteed to be number 1 anyway :lol:

Don't like it at all. Yet another one to add to the list 'crap #1s of 2011'. Maybe it'll grow though.

I don't know what to think of it upon first listen. It's something I should adore, (it IS essentially 'Loser Like Me'/'Light Up the World') but I can't quite love it quite as much as I want to. It's very good and different to what JLS and The Wanted are doing though. But maybe because I've literally hammered 'Loser Like Me' and 'Light Up the World' to death, would explain why I'm find this a tad boring? :unsure:

 

Decent debut though. (Oh and I have no opinion on OneDirection really I adore their cover of 'Torn' and think they did well with 'Forever Young' but I don't think I can quite forgive them for massacring 'My Life Would Suck Without You' :heehee:)

I wish it was worse so that I could flat out hate it instead of quite liking it, as I do.

 

They do appear to be taking love advice from Bruno Mars though, in saying she's already beautiful. Never a good thing in my opinion, taking advice from Bruno will make you end up coming across like a crazy stalker.

Absolutely love this. Very Glee but I love Glee so it's right up my street. Big hook, appeals directly to their fanbase and differentiates them sonically from JLS and The Wanted. This will be huge.

2 or 3 listens in and I actually sightly agree (although I don't think it's necessarily "awful") I just can't form an opinion on this song. I don't know whether I like it or not. But I really should be jumping all over this and loving it.

 

I can't quite tell who is singing what line either :s (Only Harry) it's just like The Wanted for me. I can't tell one voice from the other (with The Wanted it's only Tom's voice I can distinguish from the rest of them...)

I wish I could manage to get 2 or 3 listens in, I couldn't even get through one!

First listen and I love and it totally sounds like Light Up The World from Glee, probably why I like this.

It's like... Grease meets 'Stacey's Mom' by Fountains of Wayne. Terrible.

 

edit: On second listen it sounds like something from Kelly Clarkson :manson:

When I first clicked the link, I actually thought I'd clicked on a Glee song by accident- it sounds SO much like Light Up The World it isn't even funny.

 

It's.. OK. I'm not really sure what think of it at the moment? Need to give it a bit more of a listen I think.

This is so good! :( I had doubts about them, but this is actually really strong, and it's obviously going to be huge here too. Hopefully the rest of the album is up to the standard of this. :D

It is a good debut for Syco but it sounds too much like the Jonas Brothers SOS.It will easily do over 100k its first week.
