Anyway that video is a DISASTER. AND I LOVE IT! Liam doesn't seem to appear between about 0:30 and 3:00 which is probably just as well since they've made him into a lesbian now. Niall randomly not topless in the sea. Harry pulling some really unfortunate faces whilst singing (the middle 8 bit where he sings about a centimeter from that girl's face is so awkward). Fortunately Zayn saves the day by looking absolutely delicious. Those arms...

 

The song is actually genuinely GOOD though.

 

the intro sounds identical to Summer Nights as people have already pointed out :lol: but its not bad overall, sounds very McFly-lite, not something I'll be rushing out to buy, but listenable

 

this will be an easy number 1 I think, I wonder if the whole top 4 from last year will get number 1s :o that would be something even 2008 couldn't manage

 

oh and the video is awful but I expected nothing more! :lol:

Well that's a bit RUBBISH and just how I wanted it to be! I am still very much Team Harry, even though is clearly f***ing every female who pays him any attention. And his face whilst singing the last line looks PAINFULLY bad. The song remains brilliant though.

Ha I actually don't! I must admit I do know the names of the other four but not him...although I assume he is Niall from your post.

And yes, I noticed him randomly having a top on in the sea too - think someone's a bit body-conscious!

So far I've managed to completely avoid everything about this and I intend to at least try to keep it that way! :D

Just watched video for the first time. What the HELL has Liam done to his hair?? He was so hot on the show and now he looks AWFUL.

 

I think they're trying to make Niall turn into the next Nicky from Westlife (i.e. he doesn't sing he just smiles at the camera occasionally). He even gets a look down, look up and smile close-up!

shocked by how much I like this. :o was expecting the lead single to sound like 'all time low' or something. of course, good thing it isn't, because that got boring quite quickly for me.

I just want to punch Harry Styles' face in so badly! He just WASN'T born to be on camera! He sings with his face pointing upwards as if he is a pompous twat or there is a bad smell. His stupid typically boyband arm gestures and movements annoy me to no end! And in the chorus when they all sing 'the way that you flick your hair', he flicks his hair too :drama: Just LOL. Plus the middle 8 bit was so awkward! Put your arms around her at least! Instead of staring at her like a pervert. And Niall remains forever pointless.

 

The rest of the video was okay, I liked the bits in and around the camper van and Liam and Zayn looked fine in their solo parts, and I loved Louis' red chinos :lol: But I found it funny how in every group scene it looked like they were trying to fight their way into the camera shot :lol:

Such an awful video for such a good song! :( The group shots are cringey, especially when they're in the sea (and Niall with his top on, rather odd. And also how Niall doesn't even sing anything, and just looks awkward in every shot). Also Liam's gay is DREADFUL! He was always the best looking during X Factor, so it's a shame about what they've done. Louis is still good-looking though - is he really almost 19 though?! :o

I'm loving this. Zayn is beautiful.

I actually really, really like this song now. When I first heard it, I wasn't keen, but it really has grown on me.

 

The video's very much targeting a particular audience, rather than being quite neutral and attracting new audiences which is a bit of shame, but to be expected. It's a pretty cheesy video but matches quite well, and I'm not surprised to see Harry as front runner in this song - he does seem to be the 'favourite' member of the band and the director(s) certainly have taken advantage of that.

 

I do still find Zayn awkward to watch, though - he never looks comfortable and always seems to be looking round at the others when he's in shot, as if looking for reassurance.

This is annoyingly good, I won't begrudge it a couple of weeks at #1.

I'm annoyed by how much I like this. Hopefully it's not the Beat Again to the 2nd single's Everybody In Love. I'd hate if One Direction went the same way as JLS. They started out so promising and then it all fell apart.

The video is terrible, but I don't care. They look hawt.
