  • Man Utd history with Brazilians is not amazing but he fits perfect for Amorim’s system. Sancho’s style suits European football not premier league football. Cunha is a proper premier league player

How can a 70m striker take the 10th penalty against a league two side? Embarrassing!

  • Casemiro wouldn't even get into Southampton's team, worst midfielder in the league.

Bruno being ridiculously poor tonight and calling the manager out to deflect that fact!

Can't stand him. Fans contently glaze him yet he goes missing for large parts of every season and only picks up his tools during the start of a new managers tenure every time.

After Maguire he's the worst captain we've ever had. Should have offloaded him to Saudi when we had the chance a few years back.

Ah fantastic, the fans are in absolute dissaray once again.. perfection 🤣

Most people could have seen this coming a mile off, new manager bounce and physically fresher than most the teams. Now I will say, I think Carrick misses Sesko, but for whatever reason he struggled to build play with Sesko starting. I think people will say they didn't recruit in the summer well, but they still spent a fair bit without selling anybody and imo spent pretty poorly on three midfielders, one of whom I don't think they needed and could have resorted to using the funds elsewhere.

Not sure anyone comes out of this looking well from the players up to Ineos to be honest. But also.. football is so fickle. All it takes is a couple of good results then you slip back under the radar.

My goodness Como my GOAT cheeseblock

The Italian pundits will hate them even more!

Not happening. This is an impossible run of form to address until a new manager comes in, that's the way it goes at United. No manager post-Fergie has ever managed to come through a tough run and survive.

The summer business was dreadful. Andrey Santos, deemed not good enough for the team that finished 10th last season. Tielemans, people rate him because he's scores a screamer once in every 10 games but his stats were always bang average for Leicester & Villa. Jury's still out on Baleba, but Brighton are doing much better now without him in the team which speaks volumes.

However biggest issue of course is the defence. As has been highlighted by many, we're pretty much playing the exact back 4 that started that 4-0 horror defeat to Brentford a few years ago and expecting not to concede goals lol

Yup, I’m still waiting for the yellow and green flags to reappear some weekend and for the fans to stop the game as it’s the Glazers fault when they lose.

I got believe Carrick should be given more time to get things right here 😜

Well from the names being thrown around I'd rather just stick with Carrick if I had the power. Howe and Conte? LOL no thank you.

Perhaps the only one who's available atm worth considering is Nagelsmann but his stock is hardly high after his Germany debacle.

Clearly the best approach is to sack Carrick then get Carrick in as caretaker manager.

They’d go for Conte who would be like Amorim with balls and then fall out with everyone after a year then an earnest club legend like Johnny Evans would take the caretaker role after leading West Brom as manager to the play off semi finals and free the players and give them joy again qualifying them for the champions league after being installed in Nov, then be given the role full time. Rinse and repeat!

Further towards the relegation zone we go! Teams that had not won any matches not too long ago have now overtaken us in that department and in the league table as a whole.

I think it's quite inevitable that Carrick will get sacked but who else can come in to do the job?

Whoever it is the players will magically pick up their tools again long enough for them to earn a multi-year contract and then go back to performances like this.

Surely whoever comes in will be out of work currentlty. I'd guess it would be Howe. I don't think he'd be a terrible appointment, but his Newcastle tem were built on being physical and aggressive and the team would likely need to be built around Sesko to work. I don't really rate Carrick as a coach, but it's also clear as mud the players are not playing for him either and it does reek of there being a dressing room divide.

But we know what will happen, Man Utd will find a new lease of form when the new manager comes in.
