April 2Apr 2 Obsessed with their art direction this era — the 2000s pap shot references are genius Of course Terry O’Connor is involved
April 3Apr 3 Author yes 1000% sure Relationship is Single 1when they put Relationships out they called it "single"with the new one they're calling it "a new song"This next song we will be releasing is my favorite song we’ve written in the last couple years :) writing it has gotten me through some hard times, and we felt this might be of some use to get our vibes right for this summer! I started writing this after a panic attack I had the night I got home from tour. I was very confused because I was SO SO SO happy about our incredible tour, but something about being alone with myself scared the shit out of me. after a lot of reflecting I realized I’ve let a lot of people try and tell me how I should live my life, but I realized in making everyone else happy, I lost myself. I wrote this as a way to believe in myself again and quit being scared to do what I want. I hope this finds anyone who needs it. -d
April 7Apr 7 Really enjoying the new single, always enjoy this Sheryl Crow-ish soft Americana from them.
April 22Apr 22 Author That sounds even more Sheryl Crow :) they really need to make an album announcement and pre-orders and all
April 24Apr 24 Author They also debuted a new song called Blood on the Street!!from Rolling Stone:Haim enlisted Addison Rae to help them debut a new song, “Blood on the Street,” during their show in Los Angeles last night. The performance, part of Haim’s headlining show at the Bellwether, featured Rae writhing around the stage as the band premiered the mid-tempo rock track. Oddly, Rae didn’t join on the vocals; she just danced around as Haim themselves sang.During the show, Haim played several of their new songs, including recent single “Everybody’s Trying to Figure Me Out” and “Down To Be Wrong,” which is set to be released later today. The trio also announced the name of their forthcoming LP, which is titled I Quit, along with its release date of June 20. The group kicked off their show with an intro visual that revealed the title and included numerous variations of the name like “I quit what does not serve me” and “I quit caring about what you think.”Haim kicked off their new album cycle with “Relationships,” which arrived last month. I Quit was produced by Rostam Batmanglij and marks the band’s fourth LP. Haim’s most recent album, Women in Music Pt. III, arrived nearly five years ago. lana Haim recently told I-D their new album is “the closest we’ve ever gotten to how we wanted to sound.” She added that it was a “completely different experience” recording than on past albums. Danielle added, “Working with Rostam, in general it’s very quick, kinetic with him, which I really love as an artist.” Edited April 24Apr 24 by Bjork

June 1Jun 1 'Relationships' is possibly my favourite thing they've ever done but the ones released since haven't been anywhere near as good for me.
