Your 2nd part is so true. Debut eras should be about finding your sound and getting an audience for it. Her festival tour was PERFECT for building that and I think it’s worked. I’m really intrigued as to how they approach the 2nd era. Hopefully it’s more meticulous and carefully thought out. I don’t think they were expecting the demand for JADE to be what it was (which is silly if you ask me).

Chart success is largely manipulated nowadays. It relies way to much on where you are positioned on certain playlists and how you capitalise on trending things on Tik Tok. But I’m so pleased JADE went the route she did. She is seemingly a critical UK pop dahling and I can see her getting bugger with each passing release providing they continue to put the effort in with/for her.

Might hopefully be going to the Brighton date 🤞
