Posted May 19May 19 Hear me out.Browsing BBC Sounds today and I found that for Friday 23rd May, due to Big Weekend this year occupying the schedule, I'm sure the chart show is not going ahead as planned. If so, it's the second time this year it has happened, since March.I honestly think it could just be a recap and a play of the number one single before 5.45..

May 19May 19 Of course! Completely forgot the chart used to be on a Sunday even if it was 10 years ago now that last happened
May 19May 19 Yeah it's definitely happened before. I'll get all the info up as usual, though I have a concert to go to on Friday night too so it may not be until much later that the info posts arrive.
May 20May 20 It's a shame Big Weekend falls on the same Friday that Eurovision entries will chart (if any of them make it). They'll miss out on getting a chart show play :(
May 20May 20 Plus no chart update on Sunday hope chart company something up or gone have till Tuesday before know happen as bank holiday Monday
May 22May 22 Author To be fair, Suedehead is definitely going to at least keep us posted with the info in its' place. But still I'll see if they do a chart recap at the end of the 5pm slot on Big Weekend tomorrow...

May 23May 23 Author The show is not going ahead, but the chart is still being published. Info will be found on Suedehead's commentary when it's published.
May 23May 23 Sad for Remember Monday if they do actually make it and miss out on their likely only Radio 1 play!
May 23May 23 OCC should have the whole chart up as usual after 5:45pm, look on the bright they won't be playing Beautiful Things, it also affects the Sunday First Look Chart. And there will be a week in August at some point when its Glastonbury weekend. At least Joseph will get a well earned rest for his hard work.

May 23May 23 The chart wasn't cancelled for Glastonbury last year so I wouldn't expect it to happen this year either.
