Honestly, I think RobBot is right in that NMF will have this below Benson, HAIM and Cardi and I reckon there will (as usual) be a couple of "WTF?" above her (and don't forget NMF has basically little to no impact anymore)

As much as it would be amazing if she did Jade is hardly gonna be challenging for number 1 so I doubt it would make any difference at all,

I was fully expecting the video only to be shot in one location, especially considering this is her sixth video this era, but maybe not releasing physicals alongside this one means that there was a little extra budget to play around with? Hopefully, having Glastonbury the week after release will help keep its streaming numbers higher for a bit!

I’m thinking it’ll miss the top 40 too but I’m hoping I’m wrong. I am just grateful we are getting decent budget videos.

It does make me worry slightly because her streams aren’t high enough to keep funding these budgets, although I’m sure her team are being smart like the Fendi collab.

Jade deserves the world, I really hope this becomes another AOMD moment or even does half of what that’s done. She really does need a bit of a bigger selling single to help push the album.

She has only released 3 actual proper singles.

Angel smashed

Fantasy flopped

FUFN went Top 30 and spent 5 weeks Top 100.

Plastic Box is only her fourth single as IT Girl and Midnight Cowboy were promo singles.

So she's had 2 hits out of 3.

That's not bad.

Tbf IG was more of a hit than fantasy,

The video being released early in the day this time is good sign though

I think FUFN did OK for her, but I'd probably personally stop short of calling it a hit.

I think the video could be potentially my second fave to AOMD! It looks really well put together from the clip.

I'd agreed and the fact it stayed top 100 for 5/6 weeks theses days isn't bad either

Quick review on first listen, cute short Intro (wish it was little longer tho), very different from live as expected, very polished but still distorted sometimes in a weirdly good way even if this song could be compared to dancing on my own/we cant be friends its still screams jade which makes me appreciate her even more, bridge is heavenly and the final beat drop knocked me tf out

Even if its more lush in production its till kinda messy in a jadey way, luv this bitch 10/10
