Have to agree but solo career wise she really is fighting a losing battle unless she releases something huge that connects as i think the music so far is bland and doesnt do her justice.

Let's face it, none of the girls is likely having a huge commercial solo success. It's an uphill task, and I'd be pleasantly surprised if I'm wrong.

Jade's chart performance despite the quality of her output says it all.

The best they can do is to focus on the art, and release music they like/they're proud of, and not all that "song of summer" social media sensationalist nonsense.

Tbh as good as the chorus is i dont find myself wanting to go back often but for her artistically its definitely the step in the right direction 🙏

WOW, everyone’s being so harsh on Leigh-Anne, right? She was actually my least favorite in the band, but as a solo artist, she’s second only to Jade for me. Personally, I love “Been a Minute.” I find it super pleasant to listen to — it’s on repeat for me, and I think it’s a really good track. It’s just missing that little extra something, like those early singles that eventually became hits, but I do think it’s a solid song.

The negativity in here is wild.

I think the most important thing is she's carving out a sound for herself. This would easily go on an album with My Love. I'm impressed by her output thus far.

I think the whole Chris Brown incident turned everything a bit sour for me. That being said I still think this is beyond weak for a ‘Leigh-Anne Summer’ and the song of the summer.

I’m sorry but the whole Chris Brown turned me off thing regarding Leigh is a bit dubious but I won’t dive in that discussion. I’m not pointing fingers at anyone in particular but a lot of the people I read on Twitter attacking her weren’t even ever supportive of her music to begin with.

I’ve never once commented on her posts it’s an internal thought that I’ve spoken about in here and yes to me it’s a big deal.

I bought the signed vinyl and have every single CD single and bought them all on iTunes and streamed.

What sort of example does that set? She may as well have gone to an Elon Musk concert.

Thank you this is how i've felt and idk why ppl suddenly turning against us saying we're hating on her for having an opinion on a song
