speak now is more of a mixed bag, several songs were definitely improved by the taylor's version, but some the new version didn't have the same emotion to it. Dear John was one i just couldn't pick, both versions are special in their own way, the original shows how she felt in the moment, while tv is her looking back at it from a now perspective, and i just couldn't decide!

This was a lot more "even playing field" rather than me much preferring one version over the other. However, the Reclaimed Versions that work the most here are the more personal ones. But yeah I can take or leave both versions as I don't think they're too dissimilar to each other and again, I think TV wins just because her voice is much more mature/refined to the country/pop-rock sound.

It's going to be interesting listening to both versions of 1989 back to back for me. I feel like straight forward pop will be a bit more divisive. But we'll see! Also TV's of 'Enchanted', 'Haunted', 'Long Live' and 'Superman' are just... WHEW!
