  • I went on the gig on Friday 6h in Emirates! It was so cool! Robbie was fantastic and I really loved the C stage in the general admission. He was like 10m away :D

Nice to see lots of youngsters at the barrier there. We noticed how many men there were in the audience last Saturday - way more than 20 years ago

I am positive surprised how full the stadiums have been until now. Even Paris is sold out and France has never been his core audience

BRITPOP WORLD TOUR // DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY // 5th JUNE 2026

I see quite a lot of bashing of the setlist for the new leg of the tour. I can understand that in stadiums he will not sing more new songs of an album that has produced no hit and his last albums have not produced hits. I know that the South America leg of the tour sold well. I do not know how well the European concerts do. I still follow Robbie as a person as I think he is an interesting human being but rarely listen to his music anymore (despite I still like a lot of his songs). I often wonder what has caused the break between being successful with records and not being successful. (He is still successful as a live artist to a certain degree). I wonder how he feels about it, how he plans his future?

He should be including songs from BRITPOP in the setlist. On the second night in Dusseldorf he included SPIES in place of Come Undone but he could add a couple more imo & give people a bit of variety. The tour is called BRITPOP, he current album is called BRITPOP & he goes back to the same old reliables. I often wonder how they come up with the setlist, I take it he has the final say & that's it. The opening sequence has changed for this part of the tour, I guess it's because he is doing a lot of festivals this summer & the stage just would not work for these events.

In terms of success it depends on how you measure it I guess. I think he is one of the most successful artists out there & he does it his way. He has of course has his ups & downs but given he is in the business over 30 years that is bound to happen. Is he still chasing "hits", I'm sure he is , as he says himself he is very competitive & that is not going to change.

I love Robbie as a singer, he is a great lyricist & has a beautiful voice , he has a song for every mood so I will always be a fan smile

The annoying think I found this year was that fans that go to his concerts did not buy his album , I just do not get that. They spend probably thousand travelling around the world to see him & they will not spend a few quid on supporting him & buying his album . I could just not believe the album sales , they were just diabolical

and also you would think people would buy the album to listen to NEW music and how he has evolved musically and lyrically instead of remaining with songs that were written when he was 20! The sales were diabolical, and the whole in one week and out the other is such a transient thing -it's hard to attach any emotion to it, even though Britpop is a really good album. I think he does seek out other artists and keeps moving forward musically, but I'm not sure many of his fanbase want to follow him there.

I agree & listening to some people in the queues for the Long 90's gigs many talked about LTAL songs & very little about BRITPOP so I guess a lot of fans live in the nostalgia of the past & memories of their youth lol

I guess by doing the more intimate gigs Robbie feels he gives something to the fans who like to see him move forward musically . At the end of the day fans that attend his stadium gigs pay for the lifestyle he is used to so & he is good at feeding off the energy of his audience so he knows what works.

I am still thrilled he was brave enough to release the BRITPOP album, it might not have been commercially successful but the reviews in general were brilliant so he must have been very happy. I would love to hear hi, talk about it..
