A trip down memory lane to 2 of Kylies early big Top 2 hits, both very different but both excellent in their own way and are now 37 years which seems crazy.

These songs do fit the Charlene era so well but also for me they have stood the test of time, i dont listen to wouldn't change a thing as much as the other 2 but when i do listen to it i still enjoy i

Got to be Certain gets my vote as ive always had a soft spot for it and i loved it on the anti tour.

Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi ive always liked aswell but not in the same way and at the time made in heaven was what i wanted as the single but i do appreciate Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi alot more now and its so different from everything else SAW were producing at that time.

From the early Charlene era, "GTBC" and "Wouldn't change a thing" are my 2 top favourites. And perhaps "Turn it into love" would be a 3rd.

Definitely JNSPP for me.

GTBC is very lightweight but of course was perfect for the ‘Charlene’ era and infinitely better than the woeful Mandy Smith recording.

GTBC for me. I actually really like the song. Probably the best single from her debut.

'Got to Be Certain', I have such a huge soft spot for it and it's just a great song.

But JNSPP is also great! I think the production on it is quite advanced and intricate for that era of PWL.

Got To Be Certain, though k do like them both a lot.

They were both great discoveries when I did my deep dive into Kylie’s discography last year.

Her TOTP studio debut was Je Ne Sais, if I'm not mistaken. It was quite something seeing Charlene in a local British studio!

I never realised that before, I just assumed she was on it in studio a few times before then.

Pretty certain she did Locomotion on TOTP, which was before JNSPP.

I wonder was their many other huge number 1;s such as i should be so lucky that didnt get performed in the studio back in those days as everyone was chomping to get on TOTP as it usually resulted in a good sales increase back then.

You're right!

Lucky, her first UK release got that "special TOTP video" where she drives around in a car in Sydney

Then, for GTBC they played the video (that's the time she was wrapping up Neighbours and relo'ing to London)

Then her maiden TOTP was Locomotion.

A fair few. In the late 80s you had Jive Bunny, NKOTB, soul II Soul, the bangles, Madonna, simple minds, Jason Donovan, and that was just from 1989. Not to mention the charity songs.
