I never lived with them not in the top division, closest was in 95-96 season but feel too big to go down now with that stadium.

I'm so old that I can remember when they were last relegated wacko

I don't think you csn call Arsenal bottlers, nothing is won in January or February.

What I will say though is that Man City victory vs Liverpool does look to have had an effect. Still a long way to go, but it's mad that 70 points could win you the league this season.. just goes to show really how loads of the clubs have so many good players now and good coaches. The pressure is back on them now though for sure!

They are non-Manchester Manchester United fans - Arsenal are their big rivals 🤣

If do go on to lose the title then they absolutely are 100% bottlers given they will likely have lead the standings for almost the entire season only to lose it right at the business end. No other word for it.

That match last night was classic Arteta, go 2-0 up and instead of pressing on they try and see out the game, against statistically one of the worst clubs in PL history might I add. This kind of weak/cautious mentality is why they'll probably never win the league under him, at least while Pep is still around anyway.

Not really (glory days of the late 90s/early 00s rivalry long gone now!) but I absolutely can't stand significant proportions of their delusional, entitled and arrogant fanbase. That's why I was even supporting yous guys last season over them!

All fanbases have elements like that, social media just makes it even more insufferable!

They spent the 1977-8 season in what was then Division Two, narrowly edging Brighton out of a promotion spot.

For last night's match you can undeniably call them bottlers. They were 2-0 ahead against a team that are bottom of the table and have been there all season and have only won one match in the league so far and they managed to throw it away. They bottled it yesterday against Wolves.

Quite recently then.

The season is 38 games long, teams can hit form at the wrong end right times. Arsenal just didn’t manage the game, these things happen.

I just feel the word “bottlers” is just over used. Arsenal haven’t won anything so they haven’t bottled anything. Quite clearly at the moment they dropped points in a game they should have won, but these things can happen. They let their frustrations boil over at the end when they should have just walked off the pitch. The fans and players are likely feeling the pressure.. this is all about what a title challenge is about.

What’s more relevant rather than bottlers, is Arsenal have built a machine which is built upon set piece plays. Their lack of ability to create or score chances in open play is coming back to haunt them at the moment!

It's precisely because of the fact they haven't won anything as to why they're labelled bottlers though. And because they always come out of the blocks quick and then choke on the home straight...

I think that’s a fair criticism of Artetas teams probably around their training regime which is why they tore by Jan/Feb. Will be an interesting run in at the least.

Oliver Glasner's future as Crystal Palace manager is in serious doubt after the club's poor run of form.

The Austrian manager has already announced that he will leave the club in the summer when his current contract expires.

But a section of Palace's away support turned on the 51-year-old during Thursday's 1-1 draw against Zrinjski Mostar in the Europa Conference League, chanting "we want Glasner out".

Sources have told BBC Sport that the club is now considering Glasner's position after a run of just one win from their last 15 games.

Things have fairly fallen apart for Palace this season. Suppose they are down to where they are expected to be after winning their first ever trophy last season and being in Europe.

Have to say although Wolves will probably go down Rob Edward’s has made a decent inpact on them since he arrived, they are def a different proposition to the first three months of the season and are rightly planning for next season.

The previous holder of the record, Gareth Barry, was originally at Brighton as a trainee before he went to Aston Villa. The first time I head of James Milner was when he broke Wayne Rooney's record as they youngest score in the Premier League. He now has a chance to beet Teddy Sheringham's records as the oldest scorer in the PL and the oldest outfield player in a PL match.
