They were actually in league 1 as recently as 2009!

Crazy falloff, though of course they're not the first former PL champions to drop to the third tier following Blackburn Rovers.

Thanks, I couldn’t remember when it was but suspected it was within my lifetime but a fair while back, you find big clubs like that fall then rise fast when they finally climb up - a bit like Sunderland and Sheff United.

It’s mad how Leicester have fallen into the third tier, I can’t remember them being that low in my lifetime. And after winning the league a decade ago!

And winning the FA Cup five years ago, nine years ago they were playing Atlético Madrid in the Champions League.

See you in the Premier League in the 2027/28 season, then the 2029/30 season, Burnley.

Yes he did get a 6 year contract.

£24 MILLION I read Rosenoir apparently will get as a payout. The guy is an absolute genius for pulling the wool so far over Chelsea's eyes you could knit a jumper.

Mad how close the top of the table is now:

First time in 208 days Arsenal haven’t been on the top spot.

Crucially Arsenal play twice before City do.

It's certainly been a roller-coaster for Burnley over the last few years!

2021/22: We are going down, say we are going down

2022/23: We are going up, say we are going up

At this point Burnley should probably just be blacklisted from the league!

It’s the parachute payments effect, means most teams can keep their premier league level players (if they wish to stay) for the season after relegation in the championship.

It’s remarkable that Coventry are champions and a team like Millwall have a chance of that second spot with 3 games to play. Let’s hope Ipswich don’t get there as they’ll be in Burnley’s position 12 months from now!

prolly one of the biggest ragebaits of all-time in sports x

Cackling at Chelsea apparently trying to lure Lampard back for a THIRD spell.

Please do it, they could genuinely end up having a Spurs season if they do.

So that is 223,300.97 a day for Liam Rosenior with how long he was at Chelsea.

I would hope that Lampard stays at Coventry City, he would be daft to have an third bite of the Chelsea cherry.

Filipe Luis I believe is the bookies favourite to get the Chelsea job.
