Yoko Ono - Walking On Thin Ice

Dave Stewart With Colin Blunstone - What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted

the correct versions of these two don't appear to be on spotify either

Duran Duran - Planet Earth

New Order - Ceremony

Public Image Ltd - Flowers Of Romance

The Teardrop Explodes - Reward

Toyah - It's A Mystery

Light on the classics this week, 'Planet Earth' and 'Reward' are the only songs I already knew that made my top 5 this week, shoutout to The Jacksons and Ennio Morricone as my next favourites but otherwise it was all about the discoveries, Public Image Ltd being my fave from this week, love to hear something so leftfield in this. Other good discoveries were Ultravox, Kool & The Gang 'Summer Madness', Dire Straits, Hazel O'Connor and Graham Bonnet.

Visage for the tiebreak but it should have been Talking Heads :'(

Oh I added what looked to be the original of 'Walking On Thin Ice' but it does seem to just be another untagged remix. Mind, I'm still not 100% sure the one that was played on SyncTube was right either. lol

The Teardrop Explodes - Reward

The Jacksons - Can You Feel It

Yoko Ono - Walking On Thin Ice

Bad Manners - Just A Feeling

This sounds like the powerful track they working on the night John was murdered. It's perfect.

Public Image Ltd - Flowers Of Romance

I've decided to postpone tomorrow's session, because of a combination of absences and the extended BJSC final. We will resume 1981 at 4pm on Sunday 19 October (the quadruple dose of Taylor in the bonuses will have to wait until then too).

The polls will remain open until then - this week's is currently a three-way tie, and there's only one vote in last week's tiebreaker as it stands!

Tie break - incredibly difficult, bit I'll go for Fade To Grey

Best

Very tough to whittle down to 5 this week! 'Crocodiles' and 'Spellbound' were my top discoveries, ahead of Squeeze and Kraftwerk. The Hazel O'Connor song isn't new to me but was one I didn't know the artist or title of so also a discovery of sorts. Next fave songs I already knew are The Jam, Vangelis, Tenpole Tudor (also didn't know the identity of this song) and The Human League.
