  • The No 7 seed Mussetti is a surprise early casualty as veteran Basilashvili seals a four-set win out on No 2 Court.

  • Well nice to see this electronic calling change has completely bombed. Just saw that ridiculous call in the Pavlyuchenkova/Kartal match, no one had any sense to just watch a replay and call the point

  • Just a different class, Norrie didn't play badly but Alcaraz is a beast. No one is stopping him

Fritz still in but both rounds I thought he was a goner

Seeds Out on Day 4 so far:

Men's Seeds:

25. Felix Auger-Aliassime (Canada)- Lost in four sets to Jan-Lennard Struff (Germany)

And Draper looks like he’s heading out in straight sets….

Don't know why anyone had any hope with Draper, he's lost more games than he's won at Wimbledon. Norrie is the one to back!

Oh my Draper played so bad

He seemed like 400th in the atp rather than 4th

Seeds Out on Day 5 so far:

Women's Seeds:

6. Madison Keys (USA)- Lost in straight sets to Laura Siegemund (Germany)

This tournament has been absolutely wild. I have never seen a massacre of seeds in this way before at any event.

Most likely will end up with 1 vs 2 in the mens. The womens, who knows at this point. Happy for Kartal though, great performance! cheer

Sabalenka in straight sets I reckon against Raducanu. Quote this when my prediction goes spectacularly wrong.

Would love Raducanu to win this match

As I say that she just slipped over - hopefully she will be ok!!

My interest in Wimbledon this year has nosedived following Draper's departure tearsmile but alas I did predict there was no way back for him after losing the first set. But he put up a decent enough fight trying to get back into it in the third and fourth. Cilic was just playing much better and smarter.

poor Emma, she played very well, but unlucky to face Sabalenka so early on R3

Norrie comes thru against Jarry despite missing the chance to finish it off much earlier. But with Alcaraz next his run will surely be over, great effort reaching the quarters still!

Well nice to see this electronic calling change has completely bombed. Just saw that ridiculous call in the Pavlyuchenkova/Kartal match, no one had any sense to just watch a replay and call the point out.

It always irked me when people criticised VAR and pointed to tennis as being the flagbearer of how technology in sport should be used. Nope, it's only effective if the people running it are competent enough.
