September 6, 20213 yr AFU is an enduring classic. It sounds quite distinctly 2011 but somehow still fresh. I was pleased to see it do so well for them at the time.
September 6, 20213 yr I actually wasn't huge on 'All Fired Up' at the time but it's massively grown on me over the years - I'd consider it one of their best now! Where has time gone :o
September 6, 20213 yr all fired up for me is my fav now :o it's nowhere near as aged as the other tracks and would probably do well if released now.
September 6, 20213 yr missing you is my absolute fav from these girls & it makes me sad when people hate it! i thought it was quite unique at the time and frankies first verse was so good.
September 6, 20213 yr I actually wasn't huge on 'All Fired Up' at the time but it's massively grown on me over the years - I'd consider it one of their best now! Where has time gone :o I’m the same!! I wasn’t keen on it at all in 2021 but love it now. Of all their singles I’d probably say it’s the one what would be the biggest hit today. It’s very GA in places as well the way it’s structured. I can totally hear Nadine singing Rochelle’s part
September 6, 20213 yr Ego was and still is by far my fave song from them, its one of their few songs that i have always enjoyed.
September 7, 20213 yr I loved all of their singles except Forever is Over, Issues and Gentleman. So consistent with their releases.
September 9, 20213 yr rochelle, frankie + mollie have well-paid, much cushier gigs on tv + radio now. i can’t see it happening for a while :(
September 9, 20213 yr I'd personally love it to happen; more so in light of the sad news we've been dealt this week from the Girls Aloud camp. Equally if they're not all in that place yet, there's no point forcing it. There's nothing worse than when bands come back and you can tell they're not really feeling it.
September 9, 20213 yr the saturdays weren’t really feeling it the first time around sooo  Having listened to certain members on assorted podcasts talking about their time in the band and their "first manager" (i.e. Jayne Collins) over the last year I can't say I'm surprised! I think as well The Sats always got such a rawer deal than most pop groups, let alone girl groups. It always felt like the done thing (not from these quarters, mind) to knock them at every opportunity.
September 9, 20213 yr the energy the girls gave at the end of their time was horrific, no energy and cba

September 9, 20213 yr ooh i’d love to hear the podcasts, which ones are they? Well Frankie spoke to Mollie on the first episode of her "Open Mind" podcast. There was one Rochelle did where she talked about it as well, I forget for the life of me which one. But I do remember her saying she was told to lose weight when she joined by someone in their team during their first year.
