    Perhaps they’re scared to announce it because of your scathing iTunes reviews.

    It’s like you completely ignored everything I had to say. It’s wild that I was told this by someone in the music industry and you’re just like “no” who probably has no experience in the field whatsoev

I hope anything but 1994 is the next 90s yearbook because it feels like they’re rushing the early 90s

So, you're thinking either 1970, 1971, 1972, 1995 or 1996?

I’m hoping anything but 1975 for next 70s and anything but 1994 for next 90s. I wish they’d have mixed the 80s up rather than completing the early 80s before going to the late 80s. I just want them to balance the decades out rather than rushing one half of the decade like they’re doing with late 70s and early 90s. For the 70s, I want it to go 1972, 1971, 1975 and 1970 and for the 90s, I want it to go 1996, 1995, 1994 and 1999

Sounds respectable.

On that note, I may want to take a stab in the dark on the colours of the remaining yearbooks:

1970 - Brown

1971 - Light Blue

1972 - Purple

1975 - Yellow

1994 - Red

1995 - Turquoise

1996 - Blue

1999 - Gold

This is just my predictions.

Edited by geraintlewis268

I think 1995 will be light orange and 1999 will be blue. I’d say 1990 was a cross between red and blood orange

So are we likely to get the 123 tracklist next week? Surely it's out Good Friday. Hoping for Midnight Sun and Stateside to appear.

We’ll more likely get the track list on 12th March with a release date of 10th April. The spring Nows seem to be all over the place. Last Friday in March would be a better set release date so if Easter falls on that weekend, then release it first Friday in April and I hope Harry Styles does appear and that his licensing issue is just with his Harry’s House era

Would be fab if they did 50 songs.

I feel like KPop Demon Hunters songs will remain unlicensable, but would be happy to be surprised. If none of them, Harry or Dave license then we’re in for quite a weak album.

There’s room for 50 songs with how short the songs are and Demon Hunters will probably become licensable once that album gets toppled from the top of the compilation chart. The longer it remains at the top of the compilation chart, the harder it is to license Golden

I do wonder how NOW are gonna fill two discs with songs. The hits are sparse, and so are the releases in general. Then throw in a larger selection of artists now saying “No” to compilations, and we’re slim on the ground.

It could give a chance for more under appreciated tracks and artists to fill the space. Melanie C, Jessie Ware, MEEK, Robyn, Blue, and Hilary Duff would be fabulous inclusions.

They might have to use some of the old re-entries as filler ie. Diana Ross, The Police, The Cure and songs that charted outside of the top 40

The problem is they usually fill it with new songs from dino singers or groups. They should better put in some fresh stuff from Meek, Cherry Bomb, Holly Humberstone, Isabel LaRosa, Alice Merton, Maisie Peters, Sophie & The Giants, Agnes, Megan Moroney, Freya Skye, and Felicia, but maybe this is a bit too much "That Is What I Call DaTilt".

First impressions are it looks like a decent effort, but here are the ommisions for context;

HUNTR/X EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI, Kpop Demon Hunters Cast – Golden {1}

Taylor Swift – The Fate Of Ophelia {1}

Tate McRae – Just Keep Watching {6}

Tate McRae – Tit For Tat {6}

sombr – 12 to 12 {7}

MOLIY & Silent Addy – Shake It To The Max (FLY) {12}

BLACKPINK – JUMP {18}

gunna & Burna Boy – wgft {25}

Lola Young – d£aler {27}

Tyler The Creator – Sugar On My Tongue {27}

Morgan Wallen feat. Tate McRae – What I Want {30}

Calvin Harris & Jessie Reyez – Ocean {34}

Denon Reed & Cru2 – Let Him Go {36}

sombr – we never dated {37}

Tame Impala – Dracula {40}

JADE – Unconditional

Demi Lovato – Fast

Leigh-Anne – Been A Minute

Tyla – IS IT

Sugababes – Shook

Florence + The Machine – Everybody Scream

Richard Ashcroft – Lovin' You

Biffy Clyro – Hunting Season

Hayley Williams – Parachute

Confidence Man & JADE – gossip

MK & Clementine Douglas – Come Find Me

Nathan Dawe & Shayan – Over You

Joel Corry & Aby Flynn – Phases

Louis Tomlinson – Lemonade

Blue – One Last Time

Gary Barlow & Becky Hill – Don't Look Down

Diana Vickers – Ice Cream

Overall no real surprises with those omissions, and not too many which we will look back on as major oversights, though it is intriguing we get two Lola Young songs and neither of them are d£aler which Elton John called the song "the biggest smash I’ve heard in years."

Not too much to suggest will be remembered by the time of the next release, so I guess it's fairly represented for what we have had released these last few months.

They could always stretch to some of the older omissions from the last volume (albeit slim pickings) but it might allow for one or more hits to be added.

My picks would be HUNTR/X, sombr, BLACKPINK, Lola Young and Morgan Wallen.

I think those are mostly 'internet pop fan' names that won't even be on the radar of the Now team for fillers sadly, as lovely as it would be to see them.

Maybe Felicia will turn up on Now 124 after Eurovision when the song charts at No.45 in the UK (assuming she wins Melodifestivalen as is expected).
