Thats an interesting choice of category,

I adore the song and it should of charted even higher than it did but im not sure id categorise it as lyrically outstanding 😮

This was played at gym (they play a lot of Gaga) and it still sounds very good even though a bit basic

My gym plays only techno or hard rock, I wish I can hear Gaga in mine but the chances are 0.000001% .

This has reached 200M streams on Spotify (did it already last week but didn't notice)

What are your thoughts on the song one year on?

Still like it a lot, it gets played at my gym that loves Gaga (they play also Vanish Into You and Runway)

The song is amazing, and I actually still frequently play it. It’s ranked as the 4th most played (thus best) song on ‘Mayhem’ for me, and I can probably safely say it’s within her Top 10 singles if not Top 15 on my list.

I always felt like this got too much hate! It's definitely within the top half of tracks on MAYHEM, and that's no easy feat. The verses, in particular, are SO GOOD.

It's good to see the first few responses showing it some love. I feel like if this was released on an album surrounded by some weaker songs (but still strong), it would be given it's flowers. It's just unfortunate to have the other tracks on Gaga's best album as a comparison 🤣

Agree, and maybe some considered it a bit like "afterthought" and only tied to Wednesday but it actually fits Mayhem well.

Oh, absolutely. The transition into 'LoveDrug' is flawless... I definitely think this was intended to be on it but they held it back for Wednesday!
