May 8May 8 I was expecting them to say something like ‘Sweat’ has already outsold the total of her self-titled and given a new total. Hey, maybe it means it hasn’t and the self-titled is on 20k+!

May 13May 13 Emma's Free Me album did extremely well selling over 33,000 in its first week. If it was released 2 weeks earlier it would have been number 1 😭
May 13May 13 Author That's not true, the #1 album two weeks earlier sold 55,504 (Katie Melua!). Emma would have had to release 4 weeks earlier to have a shot - the #1 sold 30,638 that week - although whether Emma would have still managed 33k, who knows!Free Me was released in a huge sales week... maybe that many albums being shifted encouraged some more sales for Emma?235,890 Norah Jones104,447 Katie Melua75,457 Franz Ferdinand63,031 Leann Rimes46,151 Snow Patrol40,848 Joss Stone33,091 Emma
May 13May 13 Victoria being the only one to not get a #1, but with the highest first week sales of them all!

Poor Norah Jones, can you imagine is Bunton had let loose that week?!
