Are there any other potential reactions that are missing from the current set? I don't think we want to add any negative reactions, and we don't want to add too many, because this isn't Discord and we only have limited space, but I think it'd be a good idea to fill in what gaps we do have.

not at all! many times i find the like button to be a sarcastic like (or forced agreement) rather than genuine agreement. love react doesn't give the same aura as genuine agreement imo x

I like 100. I know thumb can be seen as sarcastic but I kinda see it as standard agree and 100 as strong agree or like 'great point'

I would like an eyes emoji 👀 but only bc thats also one of my most used ones. It might not fit on here. Normally I would use it for something sus but you could also use it for sceptisim?

I think the react list does need to be kept brief - if it's too long it'd entirely defeat the purpose of such a quick thing and possibly wouldn't be so user friendly if it were longer. If we were adding others I think we'd need to consider firstly whether it's already basically covered by the other reacts or not. Anything's worth considering but I'm sure we all have our favourite emojis or emoticons that we use, but not all of them can be added!

Not sure how frequently the hug reaction is used on here but I'd say potentially that is is expendable if space was needed for another different reaction,

I've used different reactions on here for different things but it's nice to have a variety of self-expression that isn't entirely negative or cruel to react to posts when no words are needed.

What's the best "celebratory" reaction would you say? Something akin to 🎉 or 🏆?

I had no idea the like was used in that way - I'm gonna pretend I've never read it and blindly continue to assume anyone who likes my posts genuinely just appreciated them

The hug one was requested by others to show support to people, not used much but it's definitely got its uses still

I've used the hug occasionally. It's not something that's going to be used a lot, but it is nice to have as a supportive emoji.

Yeah, we're not looking to get rid of any of the current reactions, and hug definitely serves a useful purpose. We have the space for one or two more without it looking bad on smaller screens, so it's more just making sure that all the usual bases are covered.

Cheeseblock, like and heart do cover most of the positive react space fairly well I'd have thought, 💯 mainly springs to my mind as a good possibility because after 👍🩷 and 😆 it's probably the most common I see on Teams at work - itself a decent baseline.
