Golden's also ahead on Apple so it's not just "Jeff Bezos"

Actually it wasn’t for a couple days. Care to explain after pouring cold water on what I said previously how there are 5 versions of Golden in Amazon’s trending top 40 and man I need isn’t even a trending song? How there are 3 versions in the top 100 including a French version?? You think people in the UK are playing a French version of golden and it’s authentic? No. It’s clearly manipulation which I noticed originally. The David Guetta remix isn’t top 200 on Spotify but 46 on Amazon. Yeah I don’t think so. Their YouTube doesn’t even count so Olivia’s video more than cancels out Apple since they were basically even on that last week. It’s purely from Amazon. Which I forecasted five weeks earlier. If you play a trending song on certain Amazon apps it’ll play another trending song after and 15% are versions of golden.

I think what you meant was "They are the best band ever to have existed".

Erm the French and Spanish versions are some of my most played songs of the week, so yes people in the UK are listening to them (although my music consumption is Spotify)

Wasn't the some guy called jim that people said was people from other countries listening to the song and counting towards uk charts? Is it possible that could be happening here but in a smaller degree. Both are k pop.

The Demon hunters soundtrack is successful and legitimate people need to just get off their high horses and stop with the conspiracy theory's

And you couldn't have just said no it is unlikely without the attitude. It was just a simple question asked.

It gets explained time and time again and people are obsessed with diminishing its success so actual yes it was the right response 😁

Well I have asked the question once as someone mentioned that French and Spain was the top sellers, I guess I was expecting polish to be higher seen as the is more polish people here then the is of those speaking French and Spanish. Like I said the simple answers was either no , unlikely, maybe or yes and that would have been the end of the conversation, the really is no need for the drama. It really isn't that deep.

No they were in top 100 , and the argument was people in the UK won't be listening to them which is actually far from the truth, the only person making it a drama is you but ok you do you hun

Well obviously the are people listening to it or it wouldn't even be in the top 10. i never said no one in the UK listens to it, where did i stat that? . Chill out like I said it isn't that deep.

^I reckon with the K Pop Hunters there's a lot of 'Alexa play the soundtrack' and Alexa plays you the soundtrack and then also adds the whole 7 million different versions of Golden

It's not that differrent from the situation we have every December with Alexa/Amazon and xmas songs when suddenly Amazon's streams are three times more than normal

it's almost xmas in September right now at Amazon

sure the K Pop thing is a cultural phenomenon but doesn't mean its success isn't partially due to Alexa/Amazon's numbers

Thank you for the non attuided response. That makes sense I never thought of that. if a fan asked the device to play a track they enjoyed and then a non English version randomly came on they will probably leave it on and then that would count towards the charts.

I don't normally use my alexa device much to play my music ( i don't want to give one of my neighbours a reason to compain) , but when I do it plays a song I haven't bought it is always English and by a different artist but same genre.

I think it'll be quite short how big it is, iirc Encanto was huge for like 5/6 weeks but dropped off quite quickly. Maybe I'm delusional but I could envision that happening with Demon Hunters too.

I think the songs from KPop Demon Hunters could have a decently longer shelf life than Encanto because they make more sense outside of the context of the film / just sound like normal pop songs (way too normal really xx).

The films been out since June. It had it biggest sales last week, Golden vinyls arnt out to October, Soda Pop and How Its done Vinylz arnt out until end of November it isnt just going away fast 🤣
