At the time, Feather was a minor success, Espresso was becoming her first top 10 hit. The reaction was mostly "well, it's cute to dream big." And now, 18 months of being the talk of the charts globally, she feels undeniable. There's no way she'd be anywhere else on that lineup.

Today is the day. She goes on at about 9PM PDT, which if my math is correct, is 5AM BST. It will be livestreamed on YouTube and if I understand, you can watch it afterwards up until the saturday stream begins. Sabrina has said she has worked 7 months on the show and that this is her most ambitious show, and as a result seems to be burning through an impressive budget, so i'm incredibly excited

It would be cool to see, but she didn't. But an absolutely incredible performance. Anyone who has even a mild interest should watch it. Song order was a bit confusing but it more than made up for it with insane production, she must've have used 15 different sets and 50 dancers

Yeah, I mean, I get it in some ways, but I dont think it's that serious. It was clearly from a place of ignorance, she thought they were yodeling. And if they were yodeling, she'd be right, it'd be weird. I don't think you can expect someone to know every significant cultural thing. Now, maybe she could've handled it better, but thats something you shake your head at and hope someone informs her about, not treat her like she's a racist who deserves to have her career ended

Yodelling or not, fultural norms exist, and a Sabrina Carpenter concert, in California, is not the place to do it. Culture isn't an excuse, and pretending it is is virtue signalling of the worst kind. She was within her every right to be pissed off. Throat singing is Mongolian culturw, but you don't see people drowning out concerts with it, or see Danish people yodelling in concerts.

Just watched the whole performance and wow that was incredible, a production and a half you could say, so much time effort and planning has gone into it and she smashed it out of the Park a worthy headliner

As for the incident it definitely felt so random and weird with the timing it made no sense at all as well, not knowing about the cultures would certainly of had a similar reaction as it made no sense in that moment, could it of been handled better possibly but its hardly a career ending incident, and seems more of a witch hunt than anything else

It'll soon be time for her second appearance, excited to see what she'll bring 👀

The monolog that was done by Susan Sarandon was done by Geena Davis, with some small tweaks and slightly cut for time for Madonna. And swapped out Will Ferrell for Terry Crews, who had an entirely different script.

The Like A Prayer cover was incredible and honestly I think highlights that she is much more talented than her material suggests
