  • Turns out the Kylie physicals ARE released on Christmas week (12th December for 19th December chart). Go on Kylie stans, do your best.

  • We need some sausage rolls I think.

I wonder what the Amazon Christmas song will be this year. I’m curious if it might go to number 1 on Boxing Day (week after Christmas number 1) due to the delay in other streaming services reporting Thursday streaming data from Christmas Day.

Honestly I prefer Last Christmas to All I Want For Christmas Is You. Though I’d like to see something different reach #1 this year.

From the OCC

Glam rock legends Slade have announced they're to play their final UK shows ever next month - and the dates just so happens to coincide with this year's Official Christmas Number 1 race.

The band, known for their iconic 1973 Christmas chart-topper Merry Xmas Everybody, will kick off their farewell tour in Liverpool's O2 Academy on Friday December 12, the very day the starting pistol for 2025's Christmas Number 1 race is triggered.

Could the news see Merry Xmas Everybody return to the top 52 years after it first claimed the coveted prize?

Song about Keir Starmer

Not a bad shout. 'Freezing This Christmas' got to #37 last year - I can see another attempt going higher this year.

Wouldn't be surprised if there was a Kunts attempt too.

the current political climate certainly warrants another Kunts chart campaign attempt

could be another one about the royal nonce given recent events

The way Golden is performing, that could be a contender for Christmas number 1 but I’d like to see the spinning cat that’s been going viral on TikTok get it

Whilst all this is true, I'll still take it if it happens cheeseblock

Is it Amazon's 'chosen one' this year or are there likely to be others pushed ahead of it? I suppose it should be the main one, it's quite a coup compared to the usual kind of C-tier artist they commission.

New Kylie single released on December 5th, seems to be this years Amazon Christmas exclusive.

Assume that’s the cd release date?

The physical CD singles should be released on Christmas week! Alexa plus Kylie's devoted fanbase and a cause worth fighting for (she never had a Christmas No.1) would be quite a force.

Wow I wasn't expecting a Kylie to be the Alexa song this year.

Have any of the other Amazon songs been announced?

Honestly wish there was some world where an "Underneath The Tree" push could happen.

That being number 1, my gay little heart would probably just burst lol wub

Was crazy it took as long as it did to go top 10

I wouldn't be against Santa cant you hear me or even AG Santa tell me either

Oh honestly, when it did I was buzzing. To be fair, I am so glad it has consistently across both sides of the pond been one of the top 10/15 Christmas songs every year, like it's firmly become a staple now.

It's just the perfect Christmas pop song.

And Santa Can't You Hear Me... Those vocals are everything happy
