'Quicksand' was the fourteenth track on a deluxe variant of the album, and was co-written by then-emerging pop icon Lady Gaga! A couple of weeks later, pop newcomers La Roux released their own 'Quicksand', serving as their debut single and receiving acclaim from critics.
