Don't man seriously me! Do you honestly think if other artists could sell in the volumes Taylor does they wouldn't do it to? Of course they would! When an artist is selling 10/15/20k copies there is literally no point in 34 variants as pressing costs would be much larger on smaller quantities.

The music industry is a business and Taylor / Her team capitalises on her huge loyal following it's really as simple as that. We have actually seen multiple other artists have 30+ variants (Another recentish example being The Darkness with dreams on toast who I'm sure had even more than 34 variants!! They even had a Christmas version CD and Vinyl and the album was out in APRIL!!,every band member CD's and Cassette's (Signed and Unsigned) and a digital download of EACH live concert they did) Plus more signed versions and bundles. These just go unnoticed because the fanbases are smaller and sales are way lower it sold 27,823 which was big for them.

Look at Charli because Brat was hugely successful she kept pumping out the remixes, different vinyl versions / signed posters / personally signed records / personally signed posters.

It's simply just how it works now because of streaming, yes Taylor has more versions but that's because her fanbase is huge so they capitalise on that.

Honestly I think there is a nuanced discussion about limited time variants and the potential to prey on impulse buying from people who don't have the financial freedom to do so (as a neurodivergent person living on disability allowance, it's something I have a lot of feelings about). On the other hand, everyone who brings this up seems to care more about chart positions & records as if they've seen one too many chartdata or Swiftie posts and they're rattled by the fact that someone else is 'winning', so their only priority is diminishing it. I worry even by saying this that I'm giving more fuel, but really, anyone who's already shown their hand doesn't get to use this one I think.

Women being extremely successful just triggers some people too much for some reason, I guess.

I think you've missed the entire point 🤣

To be fair, it's more complex than it needs to be as far as public opinion goes. You have Taylor Swift and her Business arm "SwiftNation" . They dont step in unison (Well I hope not anyway) and it all becomes blurred. Some say she is talented, others not so, some say she is savvy business wise, others a money hungry so and so. I doubt if those multiple opinions will change. She isn't doing anything wrong, but she is pushing public opinion to the limit n all directions.

I think the issue here is some people can’t just be honest and say I don’t like Taylor she doesn’t deserve the success rather than trying to come up with ways to make her seem less successful or a chart manipulator when most other artists will technically manipulate the chart when they are having huge success by releasing multiple versions / remixes / 7” physicals etc…especially since streaming kicked in.

I'm not sure you seen my point. It s clear that the person in question is no fan of TS and a number of posters have stated that, but a number of those posters are being very two faced considering a number of not so flattering posts that they have made about other artists. Thats my point.

Every single post by the individual in question since July 2023 has been about Taylor and how angry they are at her, I don't believe anybody else 100% exclusively posts about an artist they dislike so much. That's my point.

Thanks, the Taylor Swift lovers are hypocrites. They argue because they love Taylor Swift, but got angry with Ed Sheeran and his signed copies and other artists they don't like.

I take great comfort in the fact she has had a massive sales drop in week 2, even with all her fake 34 variants.
