Well as Kylie generally doesnt do all that well with streaming overall at least she should have amazon on her side with further singles.

I also think Kylie will buck the trend of charting in the top 75 with future singles.

If it happens, I might go and quote a post where any of us have said "shame Slow was her last ever #1" and be like...

If it comes anywhere close to Tension II's first week sales I'll eat my hat with Xmas dinner.

Plays into my theory that artists get shunned by streaming companies when they team up with one!

I think in fairness, most of these artists were over or on the way out as chart acts by that point. I don't think in any of these cases the reason they've not had a hit single since is because of the Amazon exclusive.

Capital Jungle Bell Ball 20204 was 7 & 8 Dec last year and TV shown on 15th on ITV

so this year will no doubt be similar so her performance will be shown during the week release of the physical singles

gooooooo Kylie

Bieber and Laufey have got additional hits though, but there might be something.

Laufey did a Spotify exclusive too so she has played in two teams.

Is this Kylies potentially most active presence for the christmas charts in both albums and singles with a potential shot at number 1 in both, i know especially for you and i believe in you were previously in the running but ultimate kylie wanst really in the running for number 1 album at the time of i believe in you from what i can remember, im not sure where she was in the album charts at the time of especially for you.

Top 5, roughly similar with Enjoy Yourself a year later.

Thanks for that info.

She looks to be on track to improve on that.

Bear in mind the Christmas chart week will be the second week on sale for the album... and it might be quite frontloaded.

Yes i keep trying to keep in my hand the album is out before the sinigle, even if it does go number 1 on its first week its very very unlikely she will on in week 2.

If given the choice everyone and only one of them could do it which would you pick for the number 1? single or album?

I'd say single, that would make her the only female artist to have a Top 5 single in five consecutive decades if I am right here?

I can settle for the album between No.6-10.

Im the same as i think this could be her last shot at a number 1 single but i think she will easily manage further number 1 albums.

Yeah, number one single at this point in her career would feel more rare and special so I'd pick that if it was a choice between either.

With the strategy they use I'm pretty sure she can rack up a few more #1 albums anyway (and in all honesty I don't really care that much about a Christmas album)

Ya im not not hugely excited for the album but im looking forward to it at the same time and seeing how it does, if it was a regular studio album i would be totally pumped up for it.

Id think a number 1 single would grab more attention than a number 1 album aswell at this point and it would feel very special as we know its hugely likely future number 1 albums are coming but id still be very happy if unwrapped grabs her another number 1 album as it helps move her up the list of artists who have had the most number 1 albums in their career.

Xmas going to number 1 would be amazing for her. I'm sure she'll be able to get another number 1 album but this will be her last shot at a number 1 single I would have thought (Especially a Christmas number 1)

Yep it’ll be incredible if she makes number 1 with the single, especially Christmas number 1. It will achieve loads of headlines and the media will be up for it throughout Christmas chart week.

Christmas albums don’t often make number 1, I can only recall Buble. So it’d be great for a double but hopefully the album picks up decent sales and is combined with KCSQ. Long term it’ll be another platinum album if the streaming points also are significantly raised.
