It doesn't. ACR only affects the main singles chart.

Just got lucky with timing really of people going acr and low sales sometimes it happens like that

Well yeah Man I Need would’ve been #1 but iirc golden was surpassed even when on SCR which kinda “weird” to do for a big a debut to lose the spot to an older song and then return (specially with nothing being done to push the song)

Yeah man I need should be on 3 weeks at number 1 so far potentially a 4th if it wasnt on acr

Goooooo Kylie!!!!!

Just to make sure people aware..... if you buy her album from Friday and want the XMAS single included you need to buy from Amazon exclusive versions!!!! All other versions don't include it, I can imagine the meltdown from some!! Lol

As much as I love 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)' I wish we'd also see 'All Alone on Christmas' benefit to a similar extent. Such an underrated Christmas song <3

A highlight of Home Alone 2 for me!

Also pity it looks like Gwen is gonna miss out this week!

It was on 29,523 this time last week so looks that way

Hope it dodges it because it would be pointless to leave the top 100 for like 2 weeks and rebound back into the top 10 on 9th Jan.

Don’t think it will. Even the chainsmokers remix was unable to help the song get an increase. ABCDEFU would’ve had an extra week at number 1 if OCC didn’t decide to reset Adele

Ed sheeran was the real number 1 that week anyway #justiceforSHIVERS

Also can buble move away from the 34 to 37 mark could do with out HJC being my birthday chart again 🤣🤣

I think Shivers also went to ACR during the Christmas rush. If it did, then OCC didn’t give it a reset in the new year

It went ACR the chart dated 25th November 2021 so unfortunately didnt get the January reset like Adele but it would of been the actual number 1 if it did 🤣

It was number 3 and on DCL-3 on 26th November - 2nd December 2021 and dropped to number 13 the week after so it was 3rd - 9th December it most likely went ACR

'LUX' actually climbing in the mids this week cheeseblock longevity kween

(I somehow didn't spot that on Monday but I see it's climbed another place since then so suggesting it is genuinely stabilising rather than just having a boost of physical sales for some reason)

Kylie in with a small chance of staying top 20.

I hope Gwen Stefani can also stay top 40 but its looking unlikely and likewise with Madonna in the albums, she looks set to miss out.

Christmas is very US based now, Slade, Wizzard and even Kirsty/Pogues became less successful in last years.

Not really, Elton John, Wham, Leona Lewis Chris Rea etc are all charting high every year, but Slade should be higher though

Elton John and Wham have become perennials (although Wham arguably always has been), Leona Lewis isn't really charting that high compared to previous years and Chris Rea seems to have really fallen off.

I think what he says is correct for the most part.

Let's be honest , other than the obvious big players , christmas music from uk artists is mostly shit anyway 😅
