Best - Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody - Just a remarkable piece of songwriting that still impresses despite years of over familiarity (shout out to Girls Aloud, The Beatles, Human League for having some really good ones)

Worst - So many to choose from but even though I want to say Mariah Carey, Westlife or Lad Baby, I have to put Mr Blobby, as it's the most cynical, formulaic and creatively bankrupt effort of the lot - which is quite the feat, given the competition.

You're more than likely right there, in fact now I think about it, I'm sure you are and you're right to pull me up on it.

However, this says more about how little I care for the Christmas charts these days than anything else. It's kind of dead now.

Best: Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 (2nd-5th: Bohemian Rhapsody, Killing in the Name, Don't You Want Me, Mad World)

Worst: Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah (2nd-5th: insert Ladbaby and X Factor songs here, plus Little Jimmy Osmond x)

Best: Human League - Don't You Want Me? or Pet Shop Boys - Always On My Mind, they're both 10/10 and I will not choose!

Worst: it's probably Little Jimmy Osmond for me too, it really is appalling - but there are plenty to compete with it

Best: difficult to pick just one, depending on what mood I'm in it's either Pet Shop Boys - Always On My Mind or Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name

Worst: so many candidates, probably one of the Spice Girls ones maybe "2 Become 1". The X Factor ones are probably worse but at least they're long forgotten after their week at number one and I'm not going to torture myself by listening to them again to remind myself how they go

Not at all, one of the better XF winning singles imo!

Bohemian Rhapsody is easily my fave.

Worst is He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother.
