Djokovic has announced he's stepped away from the PTPA citing transparency and governance concerns as well as the way his voice and image have been represented. o

I mean, I wouldn't do any better! lol

The United Cup is going on at the moment (a competition where a men's singles, women's singles and doubles entry compete for their country) and we're into the Quarterfinals - the USA and Switzerland have booked their place in the Final 4.

This did happen.

This is not even an amateur. That's a person who has never even picked up a racquet before or even watched a game and nothing will convince me otherwise.

Great Britain's Dan Evans missed out on the Australian Open main draw for a second successive year as he fell in the first round of qualifying in Melbourne.

The 35-year-old struggled with his serve in a 6-1 6-2 defeat by Japan's Rei Sakamoto.

Former British number one Evans recorded four double faults and did not create a single break point in a 66-minute defeat.

Evans' sole Grand Slam appearance last year was at Wimbledon, where he was given a main draw wildcard.

Fellow Britons Jay Clarke and Jack Pinnington Jones also fell in straight sets in the first round of qualifying, while Oliver Crawford lost 6-3 2-6 6-3 to Spain's Daniel Merida Aguilar.

Arthur Fery and George Loffhagen recorded more positive results, with Fery beating Australia's Edward Winter 6-2 6-4 and Loffhagen overcoming Germany's Justin Engel 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-2).

Former Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic said he has been the "luckiest person" to live out his dreams as he announced his retirement from tennis.

The 35-year-old Canadian beat Roger Federer to reach the Wimbledon showpiece in 2016, where he fell to a straight-set defeat by Great Britain's Andy Murray.

Raonic, who won eight tour-level titles, achieved a career-high world ranking of three that same year, having also reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open.

Britain's Emma Raducanu will have to return to the court on Wednesday after her first-round match against Camila Osorio at the Hobart International was suspended because of rain.

Raducanu, bidding for her first win of the 2026 season, led the Colombian 6-3 2-4 when play was suspended.

It was a back-and-forth match, with both players battling the blustery conditions and Osorio struggling with a persistent cough.

The first three games of the first set went against serve before Raducanu rallied, taking the opener in 45 minutes against her wildcard opponent.

Looking at the results at the Australian Open - Norrie out in the third round and Raducanu in the second. Looks like the final 8 are likely to all be seeded players in the men's so no massive surprises there.

Maddison Inglis barely made it into the main draw for the Australian Open.

Now she's made it into the second week of a Grand Slam for the very first time - as one of only two unseeded players left across the men's and women's singles.

The 28-year-old Australian - ranked 168th in the world - has gone from saving two match points in qualifying to the fourth round in Melbourne, where a "life-changing" encounter with six-time major winner Iga Swiatek awaits on Monday.
