#5 in the US right now and set to enter the UK charts this week is country singer Ella Langley's 'Choosin' Texas' - would be great to see this be a big hit here!

Oh I was slightly dreading hearing this as I really didn't like her previous charting song but I can actually get behind this one - I've been listening through the whole of the first Hot 100 of the year and this is easily the best of the country songs charting at the moment so nice that it's also the most successful / the only one currently crossing over to the UK.

Great to see this enter the Top 40 this week :)

This is actually a lovely pleasant song, so I’m all for this smashing in the UK too (as country for me is mostly hit or miss)!

I am really pleased with the success of this song - In America the only things that have stopped this from having a very long run at number 1 is returning acts with big albums having a 1 week peak on release then disappearing (Harry Styles, BTS, Bruno Mars), which is a little annoying as it would have had a really decent non stop run otherwise.

The UK chart run is a real definition of a slow burner - 5 weeks at 35 and now 33-32 to follow. Sadly, I think it will JUST miss out on the top 30 this week but 33-32-31 would be amusing

Maybe the video will help to push it further in Europe. It is really strange that it took so long to have a video for this.

I think it should pretty safely be in the top 30 if it's at #26 in the latest update!

For the type of song it is, it's doing very well.

Would love for 'Be Her' to be a hit too at some point.

Yesterdays update was #29 so was worried with Central Cee having the new album boost / more established fan base, it might push her down.

Thrilled if that's the current update though because

I'm not sure that song really translates to a hit here to be honest.

Themes of Jesus and the Bible aren't always the most popular within a song over here.

I honestly would rather they push "Loving Life Again" here, as much as I enjoy "Be Her" I just think it's more radio friendly / appealing with a more relatable lyric.

Honestly though... I like your update much better

I absolutely love this! I fully need this to smash on our charts although it has been quite the sleeper hit! Hope it sticks around a good while yet ❣️
