Think Fleetwood and Oasis may be the only examples! Don't think any other retro artists have been this consistently popular.

  • Yeah that's what I was referring to re the janky rules - it does go a bit below the top 40 (see 'Starry Eyed') and I was thinking it was possible 'That's What I Like' might have shown up in that regio

Interesting to note that Bruno still only has 2 songs as lead artist in the top 100 - I wonder if it's possible they might have counted 'Die With A Smile' (but not 'APT.' clearly) to his 3 track limit? Although it may also just be their janky undefined criteria for resets meaning 'That's What I Like' didn't get a reset as it deserved.

A bit gutted to see Dry Cleaning's album dropping out of the top 10 by the end of the week again and actually landing a place lower than their last album despite the better start in the Monday midweeks </3

32 Olivia Dean - The Hardest Part

51 Olivia Dean - Ok Love You Bye

57 She & Him - I Thought I Saw Your Face Today

64 KATSEYE - Gabriela

90 The Cure - Boys Don't Cry

Shame Blue didn't get the #1 in the end, considering how hard they were pushing for it. Still, #2 is still a respectable result for them and a huge improvement on their last album.

I saw the OCC putting Blue on their socials with a number one award, turns out it was just because they’re number one on the indie chart.

Guess they already made the award and thought it best to not go to waste. 😂

I haven’t looked at how well ‘That’s What I Like’ did in streaming, but the OCC has a habit of only resetting songs if they will make it into the top 40.

Fascinating to see ‘The Chain’ reach another re-peak - and it will also be interesting to watch the Fleetwood Mac songs battle it out for chart status this year.

Just wondering, whether this has happened for any other retro artists over an extended period of time, where songs of theirs are starred out from the chart? I guess Oasis recently.

I see it's #100 in the audio streaming chart compared to 'Locked Out Of Heaven' at #62 which is a slightly bigger gap than I thought. Still so silly that the resets seem to have this undefined cutoff point...

Coldplay as well (depending on how far back you go to consider an act 'retro' I guess).

What platforms is Shaikra performing so well on? I haven’t even seen the song mentioned in the weekly streaming thread.

On Spotify they were up and down all week - and so Thursday’s bumper streaming wasn’t counted. Hence the disappointing peaks.

Is Ellie Goulding really on ACR because it wasn't marked as that last week?
