Gonna run for cover and hide after saying this but can we maybe slightly tone down some of the comments and reactions to entries each week please? Everybody has different tastes so fair enough if some of them aren’t for you but let’s continue to make this fun for everybody! 🙌

Noted. Yeah I can imagine it can be quite disheartening, especially if you already feel like you're going to be eliminated.

I agree with not being too harsh with the comments and remembering there’s a poster behind each entry.

But I do think if people have time to comment it’s a good thing to do. Being ranked bottom by the same person each week with no comment is also quite dispiriting - you wonder if they’re even listening with an open mind.

Tbh I’ve had one person rank me bottom multiple times and I kind of wish they’d stop saying that they don’t like my artist….

I’m more intrigued to see comments for the upper rankings - e.g Bowie’s last song, Lisa’s last song, most of The Chicks songs have received a lot of low votes with occasional top rankings and id love more insight into why people put them near the top (whether I agree or not). I feel like that would increase my appreciation for the subjectivity of music :)

It makes sense that people are gonna send lesser known or not as popular tracks at this stage, I'm enjoying listening to songs I wouldn't have heard otherwise due to that tbh

I’d also add that not everybody plays to win, maybe some people just want to send things that they really like rather than what will guarantee doing well. Even if I haven’t liked all the songs from them, I’ve still liked that some people have chosen acts that are not staple site favourites.

It would be a more boring game for me if I already knew all the songs because everyone was sending big hits from typical acts all the time.

The only thing that would make me sad is if I went out on a song I’d chosen for popularity reasons that I didn’t also really like myself.

That was a tricky round to order for all categories.

I feel it's only going to get tougher as well.
