I’m just a huge Mario and Nintendo fan so seeing it all brought to the big screen was enough for me.

It wasn’t horrible by any means, it just lacked a bit of the charm which the first one had.

Interesting, I'm going to try and see it over the Easter weekend. I love Mario/Nintendo, but have seen the reveiws aren't great, but we'll see.

Not seen it yet but apparently sounds like after the original was very basic to the mario Lore , this one is supposedly overstuffed I feel like ill enjoy it regardless being a huge mario and Nintendo fan

I have the exact same opinion. It wasn't as good as the first one, but it was still a very fun watch!

I found myself laughing a lot less during this one... But some kids in my screen seemed fine most of it hilarious!

If anyone is debating seeing it, I'd still recommend it. It's not terrible by any stretch of the imagination (the first got a 5 from me, I gave this one a 4.5 - it's still packed with nostalgic joy!)

That sums it up pretty well I feel.

As long as you go in with the right expectations.

I was never expecting an award winning film. The a good fun watch with some nostalgia triggering moments. It achieves that easily.

I went to see this again yesterday as I had family that wanted to go and see it. So I decided to tag along.

Well I freaking loved it and they also got a few laughs out of me was it better than the first one id say its pretty close

I enjoyed it more the second time around.

Not that I didn’t enjoy it the first time. It’s just that I knew what was happening, so I could look for the Easter eggs a little more.

Yeah I know. I didn’t pick up on all of them. Probably around 10-15 I think.

I liked the links to the original basic trails in the game recreated for the big scene. Like when they were on the bridge with Bowser!

This unfortunately didn't hit for me at all. I really enjoyed the first one but this one seemed a lot more juvenile and catered more towards kids (which doesn't bother me - but I was hoping it'd be a bit more family friendly for adults to also enjoy etc..)

I'm not a super-wiz on all things Mario/Nintendo so I won't pretend I know everything (literally know the basic or basic lore), but I was really hoping we'd have seen more Rosalina. She ended up barely being in it </3 Also Bowser's entire arc was an inconsistent and horrible mess. Yoshi was very cute though. It's hard to not smile when he's on screen.

I'm glad some of you found enjoyment in it though but yeah, this just fell flat for me. :(

My 10 year old nephew saw this a few days ago and he was telling me about it. His favourite parts were when Bowser was mini and got his tail jammed in the door and when he ran away from Mario & Luigi and Yoshi ate him.

I can kind of agree that this one was a little more aimed at children and Rosalina hardly being in it was a touch disappointing, but that's only because it was called the Super Mario GALAXY Movie. If it was just called the Super Mario Bros 2 Movie then I don't think people would have cared as much.

I do think the biggest problem with the film is how much it tries to cram into 90 minutes so 1 or 2 things suffer which probably should be fleshed out a bit more , the first 1 works well being shorter as its just an introduction to the characters

Thats one of the good things the Sonic franchise gets right with those films closer to the 2 hour mark
