Not one I cared for at the time of release but the years have done it wonders. HAIM has another fantastic selection here - one of my absolute favourites from them! The Chicks continue to surprise me in the best way - am I becoming a fan? Another solid choice there from Blondie and one I'm not super familiar with *adds to 70s playlist* - while I still think ABBA are the frontrunners for the groups category, Blondie are showing up!!! Speaking of ABBA, another fab deep cut from them! Erasure delivering another strong entry as well! I like both The Corrs and the Kittens choices so it seems wrong to rank them 7th and 8th but it's a very strong round! If You Come to Me in particular is a marked improvement on The Tide Is High for me and a standout on their Ladies Night album. There are 3 particular AK songs that would definitely get high points from me so I'm intrigued to see if they get chosen. F+TM and Ace of Base not really aligning with my tastes as much this round but I'm sure that won't be the case for long. Not feeling The 1975 and Girlicious choices.

I liked it at the time but love it even more now. I think it helps learning what the song is about and as a queer person it really resonatesReally does look like Abba could fall into trouble here - it’s surely not beyond the realms of possibility that The Chicks and Girlicious could catch them?
