1. Troye Sivan - IN A DREAM (easily my favourite Troye song sent so far, great discovery)

2. Eric Saade - It’s Gonna Rain (I can see why this won BJSC at the time, there are shades of ABBA in there mixed with modern Scandipop and it's just catchy)

3. Nik Kershaw - You Might (another very good offering from Nik)

4. George Michael - Precious Box (great production, this definitely could have been a single with a good radio edit)

5. David Bowie - Warszawa (a brave choice, I very much respect the swerve)

6. Conan Gray - Miss You (I didn't love it as much as the first three songs from him but still really solid)

7. The Weeknd - Nothing Compares (not a personal highlight of mine from him)

8. Fred again.. - Sabrina (i am a party) (not bad)

9. Shawn Mendes - Where Were You in the Morning? (ditto)

10. Ruel - SITTING IN TRAFFIC (wasn't overly into this unfortunately)

I only knew three songs here (Eric, Weeknd, Shawn) so found this a very interesting listen.

Troye off to a perfect start, 3 top scores out of 3

01 Conan Gray - Miss You this is a fantastic discovery - again impressed by the quality of his tracks. 100% a hot contender in this category.

02 Nik Kershaw - You Might another great discovery - his sound is right up my street. I'm excited to hear more from him - hopefully he can do well!

03 Troye Sivan - IN A DREAM perhaps my favourite Troye track so far. Instantly connected with this one.

04 Eric Saade - It’s Gonna Rain well I did not expect to like this as much as I do. BOP alert!

05 Ruel - SITTING IN TRAFFIC his vocals sounds fab on this track! Hopefully it doesn't get swallowed up in the mix.

06 George Michael - Precious Box I like it both don't love it, hopefully it does well for him though.

07 Fred again.. - Sabrina (i am a party) another I didn't expect to enjoy as much given previous choices but a bit of a vibe.

08 The Weeknd - Nothing Compares good track but it's a bit indistinguishable from a lot of his other slower songs.

09 Shawn Mendes - Where Were You in the Morning? not my cup of tea.

10 David Bowie - Warszawa this way a risky move! I can imagine it'll be quite polarising. Sadly didn't pay off in my votes but I reckon it'll have its fans.

01 Conan Gray - Miss You (Found Heaven is probably my favourite album of 2024 and this is a great cut from it so it was always going to be difficult for anything to top this)

02 Eric Saade - It’s Gonna Rain (another great discovery, I know not everyone seems to have got as into him but I'm really liking what I'm hearing from him)

kinda wish they sent Imagination for Shawn Mendes for this phase; truly one of the best tracks from his entire discography.

But I get that sending a ballad in Buzzjack games is a massive gamble x

Also have to confess I did not realise Where Were You in the Morning? was indeed an actual single (and so didn't bother researching it being firm on that belief ), so apologies even if I don't think that song will be giving Shawn a leg up here

Well, very weak round for me personally. Conan slaying again though. Troye and Eric both really strong too. Shawn, Nik and Ruels all decent. George and Weeknds entries a bit boring this week for me. Fred as I’ve said before is not my taste at all - won’t be sad when he goes. However the Bowie song was just by far the worst 🤣
