Inspired by the singer's late aunt, Joanne Germanotta, the song became a focal point for the musical direction of the album. Gaga intended the song to have a healing effect for those dealing with loss and pain. The song gained 5 votes in the last round and never normally lasts very long in these polls either.

The Dead Dance gets my vote now, such a disappointment considering the gems she had on 'Mayhem' that could have been released instead of this. Hell even 'Zombieboy' & 'Kill For Love' would have been better Halloween themed songs than these.
