Oh I am more bitter about no new music than no new tour, specially since it would have been just more of the same with the same songs again. I saw them in 2008 and 2019.

Maybe Mel C can't stand the voice of the others in a new record, so she just has to relish the old songs! 😜

In all seriousness though, I feel Geri's relationship with Mel B is a huge factor as well.

It's just a shame they aren't doing something for their 30th!

There are lots of other things they could have done without new music or touring!

Look… I’m disappointed, yeah. And I’m hurt, but precisely because I love all five of them.

There are moments when they annoy me, when I feel let down or even abandoned… but I still love them regardless. It’s complicated.

It’s a bit like a divorce. They’ve been such a huge part of my life, for better and for worse, and even if right now I feel more distant from them than ever, I could never just erase them. That’s impossible.

That being said, I don’t think they deserve to be torn apart like this. They’ve given us far more good than bad over the years. Are they doing nothing right now and driving us mad? Yes. Absolutely.

But from there to disrespecting them like this… that’s just not it.

This isn't against the Spice Girls. This is about that talentless nobody formerly known as "Geri Halliwell". She's the one doing her best to tear them apart, it's her fault and that fat disgusting weasel the other Girls can't do anything decent. Melanie C might be against new music (and rightfully so, IMO), but I’m sure she’d be on board to celebrate the anniversary with something worth their name: Glastonbury, Wembley..

Emma will always say yes to everything no matter what. Mel B is lazy (see how she never really cared to work hard for her solo career - I’ll never forgive her for that, I had high expectations after IWYB).

The other two are a big question mark.

I don’t think a GH is a great idea; the don’t have any new material, no unreleased stuff they’d be willing to share.

I have the feeling this is it. And it hurts.

PS: I’m against new music, but I would love a single by the Mels and Emma.

They don't even have to do a new GH if they are worried about chart positions, they can just repackage the current one with more incentives on it. A CD2 of un-released tracks, and Step to me added to CD1 would do it and fans would be delighted, plus would boost the GH sales too.

I agree with all of this except Melanie Janine Brown being a lazy woman. She's the definition of hard worker for me. think you mean she's been lazy in her solo career? It's because she doesn't see any money in it not because she's lazy.

I absolutely don't want to hear new music from them. It's never gonna be the same again, so let's leave the magic as it is.

Yeah I don’t think Mel B is lazy when it comes to the group at all. She’s always trying to push them to do things.

Personally I’m pretty much over them as a group now. I’ll always listen to their music but ill never expect anything substantial from them in the future.
