They're a very likeable bunch this year.

Losing both your dad and stepdad as a child must be rough. Poor Kush.

  • Oh wow, not on board with all the Harrison dislike in this thread. He and his sister are our favourites! I don't think he's really that miserable either, it's almost like a persona and he clearly smir

Also I didn’t understand why they spent the night in a hotel before getting the taxi in the morning… why not just get a taxi immediately if that’s what you’re going to do?

The penultimate episode is going out on Wednesday at 8pm this week due to the Eurovision Semi Finals.

Ooh thanks for the heads up!

This series is great, feels like a step-up from Series 5, which I did enjoy but this series all the teams are likeable (for the most part).

Feel like its going to be a close race to the end as well; great to see Jo and Kush manage to win a leg! Hopefully they can carry on and win the whole thing.

Jo and Kush defo have to win this!

Especially with it looking like Mark and Margot will have to pull out of the last leg given what happened in Leg 7

I instinctively want anyone other than Jo and Kush to win. They do both seem lovely in a way and I do appreciate seeing two young men with a great friendship like theirs... but I simply cannot get behind people who add the word 'lad' to the end of most sentences.

BIB: I mean, each to their own, but why is it a bugbear? So many people add terms like that to the ends of sentences, whether it be "mate" or "love" or similar.

^^

Mate is equally irritating. Love is okay to imply genuine affection at appropriate moments but also becomes annoying if used all the time.

I mean, just speak normally and end the sentence at the appropriate place 😂

Jeez what a silly thing to hold against two lovely guys embracing everyone and everything they’ve come across in the race

It's just a casual way of speaking. There's nothing abnormal about it.

Race Across the World cast unite to run in memory of Sam...

Pairs from every series will race in the Greater Manchester Run a year after Sam Gardiner's death.

Race Across the world stars are running the Great Manchester Run in memory of Sam from series 2.

A great finale for an epic race overall! Really enjoyed this series and I would've been happy for any of them winning. Mark and Margo's finish was so emotional. Well done to Jo and Kush.

I’m made up for the lads, both of them really sweet and rooted for them since the girls sadly didn’t make the cut.

I'm really glad all the remaining teams managed to complete the race. I'm glad that Jo & Kush one but I'd have been happy with either of them.

Molly & Andrew must have been kicking themselves knowing that the error on the last leg seemingly cost them the win - although they really should have double checked once they were told there were so many places with the same name. Although hindsight etc

My fave teams ended up finishing third and fourth but so happy that Mark & Margo made it to the end, even if how they made with so little budget remaining was hidden from us! Happy enough for Jo and Kush, choosing the more certain route just paid off for them. My favourite part of the show was Katie going down the snow on her bum and then Harrison just giving in and joining her at it 😂
