A few weeks ago, I asked you all to celebrate the release of JADE's critically acclaimed debut solo album with me as we did a fun rate of the album.

The rules were:

- Rate each song on a level from 0 - 10 (0 being the most negative & 10 being the most positive)

- ONE 11, ONE -1. These are OPTIONAL, but can be there to differentiate your absolute favourite 10 from your other 10's & the opposite end if you wanted to give a -1...

- .5s can be used, but not on your 10s.

- Whilst there are no limits on the amount of 10's you can give out, please try to refrain from giving 10's across the board. Likewise for the other way too - yes TROLLS, I'm looking at you!

As always, please remember that these are people's own opinions so it shouldn't be an issue to you whether they give out 8 10's & the rest 9's & whatever else. Please just be respectful and have fun. It's a celebration and a fun way to find out Buzzjack's collective opinion on the album.

Finishing rock bottom at #22 is the "Hidden Track" 'Tar'. This was first heard and accessed by the gold NSF card that JADE released during the release week of her album. It frustrates a lot of people as JADE wanted to go for the nostalgic effect of having a "hidden track" at the end of your CD after listening to your album. I think this would have worked so much better had she not included 'Tar' on the tracklist and actually had it as a genuine surprise for those of us who purchased the physical versions of the album (and then released to streaming mid-week without the 1 minute silence at the start).

Not surprised this is last. People aren’t here for the silence.

Up next and before we hit the top 20 it is another track from 'The Encore' part of the album and it's the wonderful 'Best You Could'. A song that was written about her dad, JADE bares all on this one as she comes to terms with and finding peace & forgiveness with how things were in the past. This song gives me 'Glory Days' era, mid-tempo ballad and I love that for it. It sounds quite nostalgic and I assume that was the idea behind it considering it's a song that looks back on the past.

I think I rated this song too high tbh.

A million percent thissssssssssss

Hidden track is exactly that. And a minute silence at the start of a streaming track is a big no no. It's literally the only misstep on the album!

Otherwise, it's still the least brilliant song on the album. It feels very much like a demo (so kinda perfect as a hidden track), but it's a lovely song either way!

Ok it got over 5 overall ill allow it and the silence clearly too many cant forgive that I guess but frustratingly all that aside tar is a really great song

Best you could, I may of been a bit harsh on this one after giving it a few more listens yes its still not a 10 but its definitely feels more of a 7 now for me

No surprises with Tar finishing last. I get the sentiment behind the silence at the start but I'm not a fan.

20: Dreamcheater [6.5]

At number 20 is another track from 'The Encore' edition of the album. 'Dreamcheater' is a song about cheating on your partner in your dreams and still being mad about it/coming to terms with the fact that each of them do it! It's really amusing knowing that Jade co-wrote this track with her boyfriend Jordan and knowing they're both just taking it lightly and having fun with a concept that (at least in my experience) happens to a lot of couples! It's a really fun, 80's sound that really reminds me of Madonna's 'True Blue' meets The Saturdays via '2am'/'Open Up' from their 'Wordshaker' album. It's just a LOT of fun.

I knew it wasn't a favourite of many, but I'm surprised I'm the only poster to rate 'Dreamcheater' above 8 in this rate!

I think it's a really catchy and cute song! It's nowhere near my favourite on the album, but it's such a joy to listen to either way!

Dreamcatcher isnt a bad song but something had to be my worst and this was it still decent enough though

Seriously though... this finishing so low and being the first of the standard album to drop out HURTS MY SOUL! It's incredible. I legit think it's a masterpiece and I'm not joking. HUGE jump in average score here though!

As I keep saying, I NEED Tinashe on a remix of this ASAP. It's right in her wheelhouse. Jade sounds insane on this. That chorus is... GORGEOUS and then the "glitches" in the post-chorus... HER MIND! Executed to perfection. Also... THE VIDEO??? Top 3 visualiser (note the distinction x) off the album for me. I also thought the performance of it on tour was incredible. UGH. THIS SONG HAS A CHOKEHOLD ON ME. I love it so much and one day, it WILL get it's rightful flowers (i.e. NOT LAST ON THE STANDARD EDITION OF THE ALBUM!!!!)

Dreamcheater is cute but not an essential.

yeah glitch being that low is actually criminal. i know she's probably going to go more clubland on her next album, but i hope she gives us at least one rnb inspired bop anyway!

Dreamcatcher not being dead last is most shocking to me
